Here’s a tip for you, if you hadn’t thought of this, even if you don’t make albums out of the shape pages that you might grab as freebies, they make excellent clusters to use on a regular page.  I’ve used bracket pages as a way to get started on a page then clustered things under and around them.  A fun way to use a premade shape page!
