Gift cards are how I keep track of how much I spend on books a month. If I added $20 to my gift card, once that balance is gone, I am done buying books for the month.
If an Amazon link is in a post, it is an affiliate link. Other relationships will be stated if there is one.
If you have shopping to do on Amazon, click on their logo below. It won't charge you anything, but it helps keep this site up and running and pays for the giveaways I do here and on my Facebook page. Thank you!
How are you all this week? I can’t believe our school started on Wednesday. It sucks going back earlier than everyone else. I still need to write a blog post up with all of the first day of school pictures.
See my new bracelet above? I won a giveaway from Kirsten Blackater and she made that bracelet and a copy of her book, A Shadow’s Kiss. The bracelet came out so awesome. If you don’t know me, I’m a huge Supernatural fan. Favorite TV show in the history of TV shows.
On to what I’m reading this weekend!
I started this one last night. I was so excited to get my hands on it because I adore The Tattoo Thief series!
Companion to the first two the books in the Tattoo Thief series (Tattoo Thief and Tyler & Stella) which can be read as a standalone.
On the Internet, secrets never die…
Violet can’t imagine anything worse than having her very private, very naked photos strewn across the Internet.
Until they multiply like a virus.
With her name, address, and phone number attached.
And her boss finds out. And a stalker finds her.
Violet’s refuge is a rock star known for going through groupies faster than guitar picks. Letting Jayce get close enough to protect her exposes her secrets—and her heart—to a man whose celebrity could ruin her.
That’s because being a nobody is the one thing that keeps Violet’s photos from making headlines. And it’s the reason she can never fall for a rock star.
Secrets spread like wildfire when a celebrity fans the flames.
REVENGE BOUND is a full-length, standalone novel, and a companion to the Tattoo Thief books. It contains steamy scenes and strong language intended for mature readers.
Heidi Joy Tretheway
Next up, another of my favorite authors!
Life is never as it seems and for Molly Meyers, life has been one hell of a roller coaster the past couple of years. When she thinks she finally has a handle on where her future is taking her, she gets a visit from her past which throws her entire life plan up in the air.
The question is can Molly handle the ups and downs this past relationship will bring her? Or does she need to keep the past where it belongs and not only try to save herself, but save her baby girl as well?
The gang is back and this time, no one is left untouched. Pain, confusion, frustration and disappointment are spread through the group as new and exciting adventures are welcomed and unexpected events occur. Catch up with the characters and their lives in Warning Track as the drama continues in the third installment of the Hot-Lanta series.
Purchase Warning Track
And then I am not sure what I got myself into. I have 2 books coming up that need to have reviews up on the same day (I told myself I was not going to do that to me again, I lied), so I shall be doubling up and reading all weekend.
This first one is the last in a trilogy that I have been reading and I cannot wait to get started and see who she chooses!
**ALL FOR THIS is book three in the Here and Now series. It is not a stand-alone and it’s intended to be read after LOST IN ME and FALL TO YOU.**
What if you would never remember the day you made the most important decision of your life?
That’s what they’re telling me about the day of my accident—the day I put on Max’s ring and chose him over Nate. I’m counting on the wisdom behind a decision I don’t remember making.
Max is amazing—sexy, sweet, and kind. I was starting to believe happily-ever-after might be in my future after all. Then the unthinkable happened and my world imploded. If I’m going to make this work with Max, I need my missing memories, or at least answers from about those five days before my accident.
But what does my future hold if those answers aren’t anything like I imagined?
Brittan McKenna’s life was perfect. After getting engaged to her high school sweetheart her happily ever after seemed to be all planned out. However after 9/11 her fiancé drops out of college to enlist; Brittan’s life takes a swift turn.During his tour she tried to stay strong and hold onto the hope that he’d soon return to her, but then the unthinkable happens and she gets the news every military spouse prays they never have to hear.
On the day Cane died, Brittan believed her heart had died along with him…or so she thought until her passion for music causes her to blaze a new trail testing fate and “tempting tomorrow”.
Eight years marks the anniversary of Cane’s death when Brittan sets eyes upon Jordon; a guitarist whose shrouded in mystery and a world class bad boy for her bands opening act, Tempting Tomorrow. Will he have that spark to set Brittan’s heart a light? After swearing off love will Brittan allow herself to feel again after years of trying anything to numb her pain and heartache?
Does Jordon have what it takes to win her heart and make Brittan love again?
Falling for a rock star is a dangerous game, but it’s a hopeless task when you both have hidden demons.
For Jordon love does not exist… not until he meets the lovely Brittan who has the power to tame the untameable beast inside of him.
Will Brittan open her heart to love or will she sabotage the relationship before it even has a chance?
On to the books I bought this week. If I remember correctly, I went a bit 1-click crazy. I really should be accompanied by an adult to the Amazon store These are only the books that I paid for. There were too many books marked down to free this week to that looked amazing to me. If you want to always be up to date with the free books I find, I post them all to my Facebook page or Twitter. I think I 1-clicked 6 free books of all of the ones I shared just yesterday.
It’s an addiction.
I know it.
Saving Dallas is a price drop from Kindle Wish List.
All of those were 99 cents when I bought them. Price is what is listed right now when I posted this. Another reason to follow my Facebook or Twitter, I list all the 99 cent alerts there also. It’s a great way to watch for your favorite books to go on sale when you are a little tight on cash (or gift card balance in my case).
