Gift cards are how I keep track of how much I spend on books a month. If I added $20 to my gift card, once that balance is gone, I am done buying books for the month.
If an Amazon link is in a post, it is an affiliate link. Other relationships will be stated if there is one.

I am running so late today. I did my blog post about Alyce’s injury and then I have been on the phone all morning with the schools and the boys’ therapist and just tons of stuff going on. I am about 500 emails behind again. I kind of suck today. I still need to get Christiano in the shower before preschool, do the dishes, all that mom stuff that needs to be done throughout the day.
I thought I’d see if I couldn’t get this post up though before the madness starts again.
What are you guys reading this weekend?
Here is my list.
I already started this one –
Our love is on his terms. He contacts me only through notes ? unpredictable and untraceable. When we meet, he can touch me, but I’m not allowed to touch him. When we make love, it’s only after I have been bound and blindfolded. It’s the only time I truly feel alive. Which is why I play along with it. For now.
Caden Thaine is the most sinfully beautiful man I have ever seen. But more than that, his touch sets me on fire. And dear God, do I ache for him. I don’t know where he lives or even what he does. But this doesn’t scare me. My only fear is that one day his messages will stop. I know he’s hiding something. But that’s okay. I am hiding things, too. Like my real name and… who I really am. But the deeper I fall for him, the stronger my curiosity grows.
I could never have imagined just how much our lives are bound. And that pulling at his tangled web of secrets would cause my own dark past to come back to try and reclaim me. Will we survive? Will our love?
Adult romantic suspense. +18 years.
What could be more peaceful than a small town nestled in the plush and picturesque Appalachian foothills along the Ohio River? Seemingly nothing unless you actually live in such a place and experience the incestuous nature of the meddling, gossip, and desire that can fester there.
Abby Lane has cornered the market on virtue in her small town, yet there are forces that want to take that innocence away from her. Unfortunately, the depths of deception, often undetected by the pure of heart can be harmful to the unsuspecting soul.
As an English teacher, dreamer and hopeless idealist Abby immerses herself in romantic fiction to fill the void in her reality. There is one author in particular who speaks directly to her heart and she foolishly makes him the model lover by whom all suitors are to be judged. When others try to bridge that gap, idyllic small town America becomes a mysterious place to be.
A Novel Obsession is a great mix of Mystery, Suspense, Intrigue, and romance. It will answer the question:
Is it possible for two people to fall in love having never met?
This next one goes up Monday for review –
Note: This book does contain sex, violence and over all ugly crying. This isn’t your typical boy meets girl NA romance.
A mafia prince who doesn’t want the crown.
A girl who has secrets of her own.
One love that they’ll both have to fight for.
Nicky Ragusa lives his life inside the cage, circuiting the underground ring to escape his fate as the mafia prince. When Jackie Marks crashes into his life, he’ll take the fight outside the cage.
But the battle for Jackie’s heart comes with a steep price. Nicky’s father has wanted him to take over the family business for years, and the time for running is over. Now Nicky is right where his father has always wanted him: in the middle of a war.
All Nicky has ever wanted to do was fight. Now all he has to do is fight for her.
I think that is all I am doing this weekend. Alyce has dance pictures on Saturday, Nano and Kat have soccer games on Saturday, Jordan has a game on Sunday. I’m pretty sure I won’t have as much time to read as I usually do.
