Meat Camp

EEK! One of my most favorite authors in the universe has released a new book!  And he sent it to me.  I be special like that. :) And I’m going to start reading as soon as I get off my computer.  I had to share though.  Scott is different from every other author I have ever read.  I go through phases where I stick with certain genres, romance, horror, that’s actually about it, it doesn’t matter what I’m into at that moment, I have to stop and read his new books.  He has a talent that is amazing.  I’m always hoping that he takes this as a compliment, his writing, his books…so twisted and strange and intriguing and usually scary.

Seriously.  Favorite author. Right up there at the very top. There are still books I haven’t read yet, but I’m sure most of them are in my Amazon Cloud cuz he always runs such fabulous deals on his Kindle books.  I must have a Scott Nicholson marathon one of these days.

Here’s the rundown on what Scott and J.T.’s book, Meat Camp, is about –

Bloodthirsty mutants go on a rampage at a camp for troubled teens after an infection spreads. Adapted from Scott Nicholson’s original horror screenplay.

In a desperate attempt to save their land from tax foreclosure, Delphus Fraley and his daughter open a camp for at-risk kids, with the goal of building character through experience in the Appalachian Mountain outdoors.
But a strange infection contaminating the camp’s mess hall soon triggers a violent rampage. As the isolated camp turns into a bloodbath, camp counselor Jenny Usher first fights to save the children, and then finds she must fight to save herself.
Because this infection doesn’t just kill, it brings the dead back to life…

I think Scott was doing zombies and ghosts and creepy way before doing zombies and ghosts and creepy was all the rage.

<3 ya Scott!

Now to learn more about J.T. Warren!

Thank you for sending it over. Let’s see if this can bump The Red Church off as my fave Scott Nicholson book! (Maybe it’s cuz that was my first, but that one still creeps me out the most, and that’s saying a lot.) Off to get started!
