Gift cards are how I keep track of how much I spend on books a month. If I added $20 to my gift card, once that balance is gone, I am done buying books for the month.
If an Amazon link is in a post, it is an affiliate link. Other relationships will be stated if there is one.
If you have shopping to do on Amazon, click on their logo below. It won't charge you anything, but it helps keep this site up and running and pays for the giveaways I do here and on my Facebook page. Thank you!
If you know me, you know I love shopping on Etsy. I love supporting the independent artist/creator vs some big box store. (Don’t get me wrong, I shop a lot on Amazon, but when I’m looking for a gift or make up, tarts, perfumes, herbs, etc, I turn to Etsy.)
My favorites are those who use soy wax and I really try to find those who use only natural ingredients. If I’m going to be warming these in my home with my kids and pets, I would rather not be breathing in something I have no idea about.
These are all so reasonably priced. I end up buying a few from each of them every month, even when I’m not out. It’s an addiciton. I must have new scents.
One other thing these wax tarts all have in common is they last and last. I use my warmer in my bedroom for hours each day. The scents last at least 3 days, sometimes more. I know that depends on the temperature of your warmer as well, but these are all highly scented. I love opening up my bedroom door to the scent of something floral washing over me.
The first shop I started buying wax melts from was Copper & Kraft, which is now Simply Made Candles. They have a HUGE variety of scents from floral to food. I tend to stick to the floral and fruity scents but they even have things like glazed donut and buttermilk pancakes.
My favorite from Simply Made Candles is Cherry Blossom. It’s the first scent I bought and while I love the other scents and use them all the time, cherry blossom is the one that I constantly have to have on hand. I love it.
Cherry Blossom Soy Wax Melts
a light, fresh, floral blend of cherry blossoms with touches of freesia, lily, soft vanilla and white musk
Another favorite seller of mine is The Shabby Witch. She has so much more than wax melts and candles and I get a little lost favoriting everything in her store from teas to incense.
One of my favorite things about her wax melts is that some of them have little bits of flowers in them from her own gardens.
How beautiful is that? I love it!
My favorite scent from her is Butterfly Meadows.
Butterfly Meadows is the aroma of a bright and sunny summer day! Delight in the aroma of the fresh outdoors with butterfly meadows fragrance which begins with top notes of summer dandelion, refreshing verbena, and soft heliotrope; followed by middle notes of spring meadows, lily of the valley, and weeping willow; all sitting on base notes of sweet pea blossoms and Kentucky blue grass.
Top Notes: fresh air, verbena, eucalyptus, dandelion, heliotrope
Mid Notes: carnation, jasmine, gardenia, lily of the valley, weeping willow
Base Notes: cyclamen, Kentucky blue grass, sweet pea
Freshly made by Shabby Witch
The next one I love (in no particular order) is one that is new to me. I was looking for a lilac scent and Gypsy Monroe caught my eye. She has so many different styles of wax melts from flower shapes to breakaway, I want to try them all.
The lilac scent is heavenly. Remember how much I love the smell of lilacs, how it takes me back to my childhood? Her scent, it’s like standing by the lilac bushes in the driveway of the house I grew up in.
Lilac – this fragrance smells like a fresh lilac blossom
Mason James is the last but definitely not least in my list of favorite Etsy sellers.
The teacher I work with had a black cherry merlot in the warmer in our classroom and I absolutely loved it. I looked and looked, trying to find something similar and I ended up combing two scents from Mason James to come up with something similar. Each scent is amazing on its own, but together they are divine.
It looks like they are out of the ones I use, I hope they come back with them because this is one of my favorite combos.
Merlot – plums, strawberries, and pears, fresh green leaf, gardenia, and Neroli, soft and delicate musk
Cherry Mist – true black cherry
Now I have to share my favorite warmer I have. The bottom is just a plain candle warmer, nothing fancy. I got it on Amazon for $8.99. The other part of it is what I adore. It’s so cute. I should probably keep it in my kitchen because it is more kitchen decor, but until I find one I love more for my bedroom, it is staying in there.
Is that not the cutest? A little cast iron skillet for your wax melts. It’s actually sold out on Amazon right now, but if you love it, keep an eye on it. They might bring it back.
Now you have to tell me who your favorite seller on Etsy is. They don’t have to sell wax tarts, they can sell anything. I want to know whose stores you go back to again and again.
Have a wonderful day!
