Alyce’s Prayer

2 Corinthians 4:11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

I had to share this. It was so cute. So beautiful. And truly, I think God sighed when he heard this.

Since I figured out that I really truly haven’t been following what I believed and I really truly needed to get back to God and his will for myself and my family, I have been reading the Bible to my children, we have been praying together before they go to school and at suppertime together. At supper time, I ask the kids if they have anything they would like to say during prayer and Alyce’s prayer was just beautiful.

This is more or less her words.

Thank you God for coming with me to school today and not letting me cry at all.

I didn’t cry at all.

Is that not beautiful? Her first day she did cry. It was hard for her.

Yesterday I prayed with her when I dropped her off and asked Jesus to please be with Leecy today, to keep her happy and let her make friends, and just have fun at school.

She did the rest on her own.

My heart just went, awwwww!

Now to get that whole honor thy mother and father thing down.

I’ll leave you with a picture of the sky that I took last season at one of the kids’ soccer games. I always am so enthralled with how amazing the clouds are.

I title this one – why can’t my kids use the front door. By way of the shoveled sidewalk. Instead they walk through the snow to the sliding glass door.

This has a story behind it. My mom bought one for herself and one for my grandpa. She put a note on the bottom of it saying it was to go to me eventually. When he passed the note remained and it came to me. I cherish it. Revelation 3:20

Day 11

I think I caught 4 of our budgies in this pic. Lucky is green, Angel is the blue with the yellow face above, Lemon is the yellow one that you can just barely see between the 2 toys, and Penelope is hanging off the wall of the cage sooooo not appreciating the photo op. Blueberry (Lucky’s girlfriend) escaped my camera lens.

Day 9

They were faster than I was – Plus it was getting dark – plus they were faster than I was. Plus I’m working with a P&S peeps. I’m about ready to give up on my new Nikon and go back to my old Nikon. I like it better – possibly because I am comfy with it.

Remember my Kindle picture? This is just a small sampling of why I haven’t read on my Kindle for awhile. The part that is behind my monitor on my desk, stacked 10 – 15 deep – mostly my to do list – others already read and somehow it made they made it back to my desk. IE: New Moon – I’ve read that a few times. I don’t know why it’s in my to be read stack. Knight of Passion is there because Twinkle destroyed it. Naughty bird.

This actually a huge stack of books for me since I got my Kindle. I’ve got 700 to be read on my Kindle that I need to read. Damn free books on Amazon, plus the ones I buy and need to read, plus free books you can get online. I’m a tad behind.

Project 365 Day 7 has 3 pictures because I want to know if anyone knows what kind of purse this is? I snagged it at Goodwill today for $15.99. Good deal? Rip off? I don’t know, I just know I fell in love with it behind the glass and had to have it.

Funky little change purse at the top.

Funny little tube that is under the braid in that first picture, it’s in the middle of the solid black loop by the tag.

Tell me what is this purse? I must know.

My friend, Paula on Facebook figured it out. It’s a knockoff of a Fendi purse.

Jordan and Woodstock – Woodstock wasn’t cooperating for bedtime so Jordan gently caught him in a blanket and put him back in the cage. Jordan never gets this close to Woodstock. Woodstock doesn’t like Jordan, but toweled like this he was fine. Didn’t fight or try to bite at all. Jordan was pretty excited. It was the first time he held Woodstock since we got him in July.
