New Scrap Page
My latest page. Jordan playing his favorite sport. He was mad at me the other day because I made a page of Katiana playing in the snow and didn’t make one for him. Bad mommy! Must be even Steven around here.
The kit I used was Monti’s England Football kit. I just changed the colors on the background with the balls from red to purple. The template I used was another wonderful won from Amy W at Scraps-A-Lot. She’s got a template challenge going on over there. Check it out!
I can’t decide if I want to keep scrapping right now or if I should go lay down. My neighbor thinks I’m going to have this baby early. I say I’ve been on bedrest too long and am going crazy. I’m having lots of crampiness going on in the bottom of my tummy today, not contractions, just a constant crampy feeling. And I’m really sensitive to everything around me. Poor Pato was cleaning Kat’s room to take out the crib and put her toddler bed in her room (instead of ours). Then he’s going to put the crib in our room. But, everything is now in my living room and I can’t walk through it, and it’s stressing me out. And Jordan isn’t listening to Pato when he tells him to clean his room, and they are fighting. I finally broke down into tears. I couldn’t help it. It’s just too much stimuli for me right now.

Katiana came up to me and said, “who make you cry mommy?” I said, everything but you baby. She’s the only one not stressing me out right now. 5 weeks to go to go, 5 weeks to go, take one down pass it around, 5 weeks to go to go.

New Layout

Last night Dora and Batman went to Night Eyes at our local zoo. It’s just a little trick or treating thing that they do at the zoo. Tonight is the “real” good stuff, according to Batman. Dora has a wig on, but you can’t tell in the lighting, you can see her own hair sticking out cuz she wouldn’t leave it alone. The bobby pins (huwt my head mommy)

The kit didn’t have the TOU in it. I’m assuming it’s one someone made just for yahoo groups. I try not to download anything that wasn’t sent through the groups by the original creator. If it’s yours, I’d love to give you credit!

New Scrap Layout

This is a page of my neice’s baby shower we had yesterday.
I’m irritated about that whole thing, but what do you do?

When we invited people, like I said before, my mom’s side lives so far away, we didn’t think anyone would actually be able to come.

But the other side? They use every occasion like this to have a get together. Nobody lives that far away that it’s a big problem to get there. So, tell me why, out of 30 invitations (I have 6 aunts on that side that are my dad’s sisters, and 3 aunts that are married to his brothers, not to mention cousins out the ying yang, and a grandma) only 1 of my aunts let us know she couldn’t make it. Nobody else called to let us know, and NOBODY showed up.

Had it not been for Jadah’s grandma and great grandma on her mom’s side, it would have been my kids, my neice Sydney, my mom, my sister, and I. That’s it. It really bothers me. We didn’t expect everyone to come, but at least call us and tell us you can’t. And it’s not like we have baby showers in our immediate family all the time. The last one for us was my neice Sydney who is now 5. It just feels like, I don’t know, everyone can go to everyone else’s stuff, but my brother’s daughter isn’t important enough to celebrate. Well hoey on them, we had fun anyway! And I hope I don’t get an invitation to anything from them for a long time!

So, here’s the layout for my neice:

The file name that I had saved says Rina – Heliotrope. But, it has no terms of use in it, so I’m not sure h0w else to give credit. It’s a beautiful kit though!

New Scrap Pages

So, Miss Katiana got her big girl bed yesterday and she slept in it until 6 a.m.! No whining, no crying, just so excited to get her bed! It was like Christmas over here! Here’s the page I made of her sleeping in her bed.

The kit that I used was Strawberry and Flowers from Carola who does such wonderful work!

The template is from Maya’s Mom who makes awesome templates that I’m addicted to! This one had room for 2 photos, but since I didn’t want to risk waking Kat up with the flash, I just took one pic and made the journal box bigger.

Alrighty! Got another page done today. This is a picture of Jordan on his first day of school. He was not happy that they didn’t have snack or rest time anymore, in fact, he’s still not. But there are so many other fun things he is doing, that I think he’s getting over it!

The kit is a back to school mini freebie from Amy C. The template which I used a little differently came from Kim Lizzy.

Another Page For Today
I made another page tonight. I think it might be a tad too busy, but, I’m done, I like it the way it is. I’m leaving it. :o )

Another page about our trip to Arkansas. This was on the lake, obviously. First is my SIL, Shelley with the kids: Jordan, Katiana, and Taylor. Under that, Jordan and Taylor hanging on for dear life, even though we weren’t moving.

Ever seen anyone asleep on a boat? That’s Katiana doing exactly that in the next picture. She was so pooped out. And, last but not least, my daddy and my brother Josh enjoying their day of fishing, despite the rest of us coming along for the ride. :o ) The other 2 pages I did today are in the post after the one below this one.

For this page I used a kit from Netmaus entitled Little Sailor.

And the template that I used, my first one ever is from Nina, who I need to find the website of, because her contact info wasn’t included with the templates.

New Scrap Pages
Alright, so next Easter isn’t really THAT far away and I’m just just doing something for last Easter. Anyways, here are my newest pages that I did today, while bored out of my mind, you know that whole stay off your feet thing.

In the above page, we have my neice Jadah, her first Easter, then Jordan, my sister’s fiance, Justin, my neice Taylor (whose gonna have a new sibling in March, my poor family, 2 women with raging hormones at the same time, AGAIN!), my neice Sydney (Jadah’s sister), and Katiana talking to daddy. She was supposed to be listening to, “READY, SET, GO!”

And in this page, we have Jordan and Katiana finding their eggs. Hard to believe that by next Easter, we’ll have another little one.

For the kit I used the Easter Kit from Issa, who so generously shared with us. And for the little pin holding the tag and the envelope in place, I used a stick pin from Jennilyn Designs. If you are interested in her work, you can email her.

And on the whole pregnant women thing, Katiana excluded, Shelley (my SIL) and I seem to get pregnant around the same time. :o ) Taylor is 7 months older than my son Jordan, and our new baby will be 3 months older than there new baby. We seem to do this on one side of my family. We have lots of cousins that are very close in age to each other. It was fun growing up always having a playmate your age!
