I recently got to try a whole bunch of Kraft’s new products!  Look at all these!

I have to say that my favorite was the Kraft Homestyle Deluxe macaroni. (My most favorite is the Old World Italian!)  We have tried all the flavors now and they are a staple in my cupboard for lunches.  They take just a few minutes longer than the regular Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (which we love too), but it is totally worth it.  My kids chow it down.

The next thing I have bought tons of are the Kool Aid FunFizz Drops.

My kids love those!  They love to make it themselves.  Watch the fizz, then drink it down.  It only has 5 calories per serving, which is fabulous!

The Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh deli meat is so yummy!  It makes excellent sandwiches.  We add some chedder and provolone cheese, some red wine and vinegar and have an excellent sub.  It tastes just as good as the deli meat that I have had sliced for me at the grocery store.

The Ritz Crackerfuls were a huge hit with my kids.  Huge.  They were a little sweet for me.  Not my favorite thing in the gift basket, but ok.  I think I actually prefer the regular Ritz crackers, but since the kids love them, we have bought these also.

The Kraft 100 calorie pack cheese bites were excellent!  But, what Kraft cheese isn’t?  It’s the only kind I buy.

And the DiGiorno Pizza & Breadsticks were fantabulous!  Just what I’d expect from DiGiorno!  My kids ate that up too!

I’ve told you all before how I used to be a tanning addict.  Seriously.  For years I tanned every single day.  If I missed a day of tanning I felt like I was getting pale again.  It was to the point that people who loved me were telling me that I was too dark.  Here I am at the height of my tanning career.

If you can’t tell, I’m the one on the left.  I even worked in a tanning salon so that I could tan all the time, whenever I wanted.

I stopped tanning when I was pregnant with Katiana at Pato’s request.  He really hated it, only because I was completely addicted and was seriously abusing my skin.

Last year, I had a skin cancer scare.  I had to have a funny looking spot on my shoulder biopsied.  Thankfully it came back negative, but that erased all thoughts of tanning again out of my mind.  (I’d been thinking about it again.  I could feel the call of the tanning booth, the smell of tanning lotion, it was on my mind all the time.  If you don’t think that tanning can be addicting, ask someone you know who tans – a lot.  It totally is.  The feeling you get when you’re tanning, the way you look afterwards.  It’s hard to let that go.)

I’ve been on a quest to find the perfect sunless tanning product.  I had pretty much given up after using product after product and coming away streaky and orange-ish with each one.

Then I found Bronzed Envy’s Can Tan.  May I just start out this by saying, I am now Blakeley’s biggest fan?  She owns Bronzed Envy.

Bronzed Envy is air brush tanning.  You get much better results than using a spray booth.  No streaks!  She has mobile tanning where they come to you, tanning for special events, and Bronzed Hottie Memberships.  She also has the opportunity for you to own your own air brush tanning business, oh the temptation!

It’s the next best thing to an airbrush tan! It will give you an instant tan/color right away AND also develops into a darker tan over the next few hours! This stuff Rocks and is a best seller!! I was so hopeful when I tried this, but I had little seeds of doubt in my mind.  I mean, I’ve used every sunless tanning product under the sun.  What were the chances that this would be different?

First, I watched Blakeley’s video on how to use Can Tan.

I wanted to make sure I did it right.  Then I used it.

Does it work?  See for yourself!

I had to take a self picture, so you get the legs.   That’s after one application.  I got a little carried away and did 3 over 2 days.  I told you, I like to be dark.

No streaks, even color, and I wasn’t orange!

My next question was, what would I look like after I took a shower?  After the bronzer had been washed away?  Just as dark!

My opinion?  This is my absolute favorite, top of the list, totally the best sunless tanning product I have ever tried.  I don’t know what Bronzed Envy has in Can Tan that is different, but whatever it is, it does the trick!

My sister in law and I ran into each other at Michael’s while shopping for Father’s Day presents.  I had told her about Can Tan a few days before.  The first thing she said to me when she saw me?  OMG that stuff really works.  (She’s a tan-aholic like me.)

I told you it did.

I’ve found that if I reapply every 3 days, I keep the color that I had originally built it to.

I am in love!

I’ve had a blast looking through the Bronzed Envy store trying to decide what products I need to help extend the life of my sunless tan.  They even have a Bronzed Envy Home Sunless Tanning Kit.  I want.

I am totally a new Bronzed Envy customer.  I think I can get by with 2 bottles a month.  That’s about what I used to pay for unlimited tanning for month and it’s so much healthier for my skin.

I’m seriously thinking about the Bronzed Envy business opportunity too.  After using the product, believing in the product, I’m thinking it might be a way to supplement Pato’s income AND get out of the house, having a fun time helping other women get that healthy glow.  Just need to get Pato on board with that.

I’ll admit it.  We are a Zhu Zhu pet family!  The girls each have one (Kat has 2 counting her Zhu bunny), Christiano has 1, they all have accessories.  Jordan wanted one, but I hadn’t gotten him one because they just seemed too young for him.  Then they come out with Kung Zhu!  Ninja warrior hamsters?  Awesome!  Jordan loves army guys.  He lines them all up on his desk and does various battles that can get really intricate in their design.  (I’m so glad he’s still acts like a kid at 11!)

We got a HUGE box filled with Kung Zhu toys!  My kids could not wait to dig in but I said they had to wait until we could get together with their cousin Carter because we were sharing with him.  Today was that day!

That little doughboy has come out with something else!

Pillsbury pizza crust!  I was able to try the classic crust and I was excited!  I LOVE making homemade pizza.  I usually use the packets of pizza crust mix, 2 to each pizza.  It makes quite a mess when I make pizza.  Plus, rolling it out can be a pain in the toosh.

I headed off to the store and got some Pillsbury pizza crust.   Came home, made the pizza, and was so happy when it turned out that it tasted better than I want I make our crust with.  Not to thin, not too thick, and so yummy!  I’ll give you my recipe for pizza since I don’t have an interview with my kids.  When making supper, having 4 underfoot in the kitchen doesn’t work out well.  If I could get just one kid to help me at a time that is awesome, unfortunately if one is in there, the other 3 have to be too, right under my feet, and it’s dangerous with the baby around a hot stove.  I only let them help me if there is a process before I start cooking (IE:  Making cookies – getting the dough ready before I start working with the oven.)

1 tube of Pillsbury pizza crust

1/8 cup of butter (margarine, whatever you have, I usually use I can’t believe it’s not butter)

2 teaspoons garlic powder

Presti’s Pizza Seasoning

(That looks like this and it’s awesome!)

1 lb of Italian sausage

small package of pepperoni

black olives

mushrooms

2 cups of mozzerella cheese

Cook the Italian sausage.  While that’s cooking, get the pizza dough ready and black olives cut up.  When the Italian sausage is done cooking, I throw the black olives and mushrooms in with it for a few minutes.  That is optional, you could just spread it over the pizza without cooking them.

I melt the butter and add the two teaspoons of garlic powder to that.  Brush that mixture over the pizza dough.

Sprinkle a little Presti’s pizza seasoning over it.

Layer the pepperoni on the dough then sprinkle the Italian sausage, olives, and mushrooms over it.

Cover the pizza with mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle a little more of the Presti’s over the whole thing.

Cook according to pizza dough instructions.

My favorite meal I make.  I also make one with hamburger instead of Italian sausage because a) we need 2 pizzas – I have 4 kids and a husband b) Jordan, Kat, and Alyce claim the Italian sausage is too spicy, though the baby will eat it like it’s going out of style.

I don’t like red tomato sauce on my pizza hence the garlic butter sauce.

That pizza is a huge hit wherever I make, usually at my house or my mom’s.

The plates that came with it went over big with my kids too. They pull them out for everything, not just pizza.

We also go to try Pictureka!

We have had a serious blast playing this game.  It’s our new family favorite.  Even Pato gets down on the floor and plays with us.  Nano’s the only one who is too young.  When Alyce plays we let her use the blue cards during her turn.  She can find the picture fairly well.  Sometimes we will tell her what board it is on if she is struggling, but she does really well with this game.  It’s too much fun!

What should we have for dinner tonight? I’m thinking crock pot.  Kat’s got soccer practice from 6 – 7 so it has to be done before we go.  If my roast wasn’t frozen solid, I get that out and throw it in for french dip sandwiches.  I wonder how long it would take to thaw it in the microwave?

Speaking of thawing things.  I used to say dethaw.  Drove my mama crazy.  She’s all Heather, you can thaw things or you can defrost things, you can’t dethaw, then you’d be refreezing it.  Whatever.  I like the word dethaw.  I stopped using it though to make my mama happy. 

Speaking of my mama!  Go welcome her back to the internet if you have a moment.  They haven’t had it at home for a long time because they were sick of dial up which was the only option in their area.  Finally they get satellite!  My mom is back up and blogging!  My dad is going to school right now for IT and has to be online quite a bit.  He didn’t fight her on getting the satellite because he now has to be online multiple hours a day for school.  Though, I just got an email forward from him, I don’t think that’s what you’re supposed to be doing right now daddy. Study study study! I want to see those grades up where mom’s were when she graduated, you know 4.0. Easy peasy dad!    I don’t think my dad reads my blog.  Though he gives me lots of grief when we get together.  Is this going to be blogged about?  Now don’t you go blogging about this.  Are we going to be on the world wide web?  Yes dad, say cheese!

I wanted to post a quick note about giveaway entries. I deleted this part of one entry so as not to embarrass that person when I brought this up.  They had tweeted and said this is ridiculous above their tweet.  I’m hoping they were joking because it was actually on a giveaway that has only been up a week.  One – I run most of my giveaways for a month.  It gives the sponsors more exposure and since they are kind enough to donate something for a giveaway, I’d like to give them that.  They all have been happy with the month length.  Two – you don’t have to do the extra entries.  I hope everyone knows that.  To enter, all you have to do is whatever the mandatory entry says to do.  You don’t have to tweet daily if you don’t want to.  I don’t mind.  If you look back through my giveaways, I’ve had plenty of people win on their mandatory entry, so if you don’t want to do the extras, there’s still a good chance you can win just with the one entry.  Just wanted to make sure you knew that the extras weren’t necessary to win.  I know a lot of people join us in the blog giveaway world every day and it can be confusing at times because though a lot of the entry methods are the same, they differ a tad from blog to blog.
