Painted Rock

My friend and coworker asked me if I wanted to paint a couple of rocks for her to hide on the way to the lake in Indiana this weekend.  I thought that was a fun idea but I was so tired that I just couldn’t think of anything to paint.  Back to school has been kicking my toosh.  I took until the 2nd Friday for me to not feel like I was dying at the end of each day.

I hit Pinterest to find some inspiration.

This was my inspiration for the cat in the hat rock:

and this was my inspiration for the hiding from people rock:

I have a few more at home that I still need to glaze before I hide them. I’ll get some pictures painted. I just think it’s so fun to get your rocks out of the city and state. It’s fun to spread the happiness far and wide.

Have any of your rocks traveled outside of your area? Where did they pop up in?

I do have a penguin that was found her in town and they were going to hide it in Alaska when they left for vacation. I thought that couldn’t be more perfect. <3 Have a wonderful day!
