Gift cards are how I keep track of how much I spend on books a month. If I added $20 to my gift card, once that balance is gone, I am done buying books for the month.

June Ipsy Bag

Dear FTC (wo)Man: Ipsy did not ask me to write this post, I am not being compensated for this post. I do not have a relationship with them other than as a customer.  I have a subscription through Ipsy and am sharing because I <3 them. Ipsy has a referral program.

I got my June Ipsy bag the other day and forgot to post it. 😀

(I have this problem since having kids.  I can’t remember anything.)

Kind of hate the lime green on the leopard bag, if they turned it into black or hot pink trim, I’d love it.  I’m still using it to store some non-make up stuff I like to keep in my purse even though Katiana begged for it.  The girls have all my other bags that I don’t use anymore (I usually switch out my make up bag every month but this month I’m still using May’s bag.)

The contents are a different story.  I would have been happy with just the glitter palette.  LOVE LOVE LOVE glitter. I like to sparkle.

Here’s what came in the bag this month:

  • NYX Mosaic Powder Blush – I know this is a blush, but I’ve been using it all over than I put my regular blush over my cheeks.  Kind of like it that way.
  • Psssst! Dry Shampoo – With my curls, I have trouble using dry shampoo.  It doesn’t just shake out easily, can’t run a brush through it, so I use mine for teasing up my hair. It works so much better than hair spray for me and stays up.  I don’t lose volume throughout the day from my heavy hair weighing everything down.  I learned that helpful tip from It’sJudyTime on YouTube.  I <3 her for hair inspiration.
  • J.Cat Sparkling Cream Palette – this says do not use on eye area, but really I’m 38 and don’t go clubbin’ anymore.  Where else would I use glitter.  You didn’t hear this from me, but I wear contacts and have to be semi-careful with eye sensitivity and this didn’t bother me at all.  You’re on your own with risk on that one though.
  • Starlooks Lip Pencil – I rarely use lip pencils because I use nude lip stain.  It doesn’t really run much, but I do have this really light pink lip stain that I love on it’s own.  I tried it with the Starlooks Lip Pencil and it amps it up a bit.  Love.
  • Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil – I haven’t use this yet, I should, but I haven’t.  And I’m not sure where it went in my make up box.  Need to dig. :)

All in all, awesome bag even with the lime green trim, even more awesome for the $10/month price tag.   I was thrilled.  As always.

Thank you Ipsy!

Now Jordan is on pins and needles waiting for his Loot Crate. We got the shipped notice yesterday.
