Not Everyone's Mama Book Store

Looking for something new to read? I've added some of my favorite books to the new book store!

I wanted to share with you my friend Amanda’s new business!  She has taken her passion for art and her passion for dogs and combined the two into her new company Canine Creations.

Let me share how I met Amanda.  I’ll give you the short story.  My Chinese Crested was a puppy mill breeder.  She was abused.  Then she started getting passed around on Craigs List.  Amanda saved her.  I met her, I adopted Junie, I adore both of them!

Junie is on the right, Suki on the left

So let’s get into Amanda’s new endeavor!

FROM AMANDA:

I’ve always wanted to do all that I can to help dogs in need, and being a stay at home mom I wanted to find something to do to with my extra time. My two passions are crafts (I’m a Pinterest addict) and dogs! So I’ve combined the two and came up with Canine Creations Artwork. What I do is create custom silhouette dog paintings!  I can do almost any breed in almost any colors and here’s the best part…. I donate 25% of every painting sold to a dog rescue of YOUR choice! So not only do you get to enjoy fun dog art but you get to make a difference in the lives of dogs who really need help! Please check out my Facebook page @ www.facebook.com/caninecreationsartwork and email me suggieshak@gmail.com for any questions or to order.

Amanda is having a giveaway over on her Facebook page!  What can you win?  The coolest pitbull wall art you could ever hope to own.  At least it is to me. :)

I seriously would love to win that one myself!  It would match my pink pitbull shirt I have.

How do you win that gorgeous piece of art?  Head over and like Canine Creations on Facebook.   Then tell your friends.  The person who sends the most new likes over to Canine Creations will win the pink pitbull!

Have your own favorite breed?  Have Amanda paint one for you! Custom made, your colors, your breed, your own painting.  $30 plus S/H with 25%  of the sales going to the dog rescue of your choice.  Even if she wasn’t my friend, I’m all about supporting the small business owner, kick in that the small business owner is supporting charities who seriously need the help? I wouldn’t be able to wait to tell you about her!

I’m going to get one done of a Chinese Crested (obviously) and see if she can make a Chihuahua that is mixed looking like Suki.  Jordan would be so upset if I hung Junie over the mantel and left Suki hanging.

For Junie’s I am seeing a white canvas with sand color.  Can I have sand colored glitter Amanda? Wait, Gold!  White canvas with a gold Chinese Crested. Love!

I’ll leave you with one of my fave pics I stole borrowed from her page.

Hey Heather! Thank you for introducing us to Amanda. I loved the concept and would certainly get in touch with her in becoming a part of her business. As I am also stay at home mom and I haven’t been able to do full justice to my love of pets!

I think I would also like to contribute a little in her work :) !
Myra Kirbi´s most fabulous post ..Should you insure your pet

This is adorable; thanks for sharing this Heather! I too love dogs, and am all for charities involving them. My dog is half Maltese and half Yorkie, also known as a Morkie. It would be so cute to have a piece of art dedicated to him! I will check this out for sure.
