Have you been to Texas?
I can say I have been through Texas, the whole state. Through it.
All I got to see was lots of open (interstate) road, rest stops, a couple of drive thrus, and a sleezy motel on our drive from Ohio to the border to take Pato's dad the truck he had bought him. Then we left the truck at the border for inspection and took a bus to Leon, Mexico. I flew home.
I want to go back some day (flying) and actually see some of the awesome things Texas has to offer. One of those places I want to visit is San Antonio.
I found SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience.
Known as one of the nation’s most affordable vacation destinations, San Antonio is making visitors’ summer getaway even more value packed with SAVE (the San Antonio Vacation Experience). With more than $600 in savings to theme parks, animal adventures, top shops and historic tours, plus great deals on hotels, summer is the time to SAVE in San Antonio.
SAVE partners include top San Antonio hotels and resorts and attractions. Ranging from budget to luxury, SAVE has an accommodation for every price point and need. If location is key, SAVE hotels line the River Walk in the heart of downtown as well as surround theme parks and the airport. Make sure to check SAVE Limited Time Offers (LTOs) for special limited time deals and added value at hotels and attractions.
That means no more sleezy motel off the interstate where you feel you need to push the dresser in front of the door to be safe.
SAVE Hotel partners include: Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Hyatt Regency San Antonio on the Riverwalk, San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk Hotel, Hilton Palacio del Rio, The Westin Riverwalk San Antonio and many more!
SAVE attraction partners include Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Schlitterbahn, Splashtown, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, San Antonio Botanical Garden, & more!
Check out their Limited Time Offers!
Right now if I were to take my family today I would stay at the Hilton Palacio del Rio and hit Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Morgan's Wonderland, Fiesta Noche del Rio, Schlitterbahn (who doesn't love a water park), the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival, and as many restaurants as I could squeeze in.
Could you imagine the cost of all that with a family of six? In this economy? Thank you SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience.
We haven't taken a family vacation in years and I'm putting this on my bucket list of things we have to do.
Make sure you follow @SAVEinSA on Twitter. They will keep you updated on all of the offers they have going on to save you money while visiting San Antonio.
