I truly could go on and on about how disgusting we humans are when it comes to animals and what we do for our own entertainment. Sea World, circuses, swim with the dolphins, rodeos (which I have been guilty of enjoying also in my life), in extreme cases, dog fighting, cock fighting (Pato almost took me to one in Mexico, I was horrified and we didn’t go in), the list goes on and on.
Dolphins have always been an animal I have been in awe of. Their beauty, intelligence, social structures, communication, they are so amazing. I have a dolphin collection, with more dolphins than can fit in my curio cabinet. Uneducated, at 21, I went to a sea world show and I was enthralled with them. Now, I’m ashamed of myself.
Have you ever watched The Cove? It’s on Netflix instant demand, it’s on YouTube, watch it. Watch the water turn red from the blood of all the slaughtered dolphins. For what? Some of it is for our entertainment. What! That’s not true. Nobody wants to see dolphins slaughtered, right? Some of those dolphins were killed because they weren’t chosen to go to the “dolphinariums”.
People have got to stop closing their eyes to the truth when it comes to our treatment of animals. The truth is out there and in this day and age, it is right at your fingertips.
STOP SUPPORTING PLACES THAT KEEP DOLPHINS IN CAPTIVITY.

The freedom of these animals, specially the dolphins, are really in our own hands! We’re just being selfish every time we go there and watch their shows because we only think for our family’s happiness but we never think if the dolphins were feeling the same way. Take a movie or have a picnic rather than watching these animal shows.

Arjhae, I totally agree! There are so many other things we could do for entertainment besides abusing animals.
I took my daughter to see a traveling zoo that came to town recently. I was appalled at the conditions those animals were kept in. Nothing like that will get any more of my money.

I have always wanted to save the planet, ever since I was a small boy. It has always made me sick, all the destruction that we humans are capable of. The truth is we have to look at ourselves, us humans to put all the wrongs of this planet right.
