I actually called my mom for this one. I could not think of anything my family surprised me with. One of my friends told me she was going to church and that surprised me, but is that really an ability? My brother read the entire Twilight series. I believe I said, um, he reads? Ok, that didn’t surprise me.
Things people do, it just doesn’t surprise me. I didn’t know my niece had a beautiful voice, but it didn’t really surprise me, I am a mighty proud aunt that she sings and plays the clarinet….. just like me.

That child surprised me.
He was walking at 9 1/2 months. That was a shocker, yes. But the bigger shocker was that he was kicking the soccer ball around right after he learned how to walk. By 2 he could drop kick the ball (like a goalie). Does it fit his personality? Absolutely. He is a natural athlete. He loves anything that he can bounce, throw, pass, balls, balls, balls.
It is fitting since he was named after Pato’s favorite soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo. It just feels right.
