At the end of Season 3, Peter makes the decision to sacrifice himself thus altering the future. If you were given the opportunity to change the future, would you take matters into your own hands, or would you trust in fate?
Ask me that same question 2 months ago and I would have said take matters into my own hands. I truly do not believe in fate any more. I believe that God has everything under control but that each decision we make leads to another decision that leads to another that ….. keeps on going.
Now, I would pray. And pray again. And keep praying. I would hope that God would give me the knowledge, the capability, the understanding on how to handle each situation so that I could do it with his approval. I know I would never just sit and hope it turned out ok, especially when it came to our children, but I also don’t feel like God wants us to just sit here. He actively wants us to take charge and do things the way that we know HE wants us to do them.
Summing that up, I know with God’s strength, I can do anything that I need to do.
