My ShoeDazzle picks for me in March

Posted by Heather Manning On March - 9 - 2011

So, I haven’t actually got the shoes from ShoeDazzle yet, but I signed up just to see how they close they get to my personal style.  It’s fun.   Plus, I’m kind of broken until we get the house and get back on our feet again.

My style is poetic, eclectic, and romantic which is totally spot on…….when I’m not in yoga pants.  That whole soccer mom thing and all.  No excuse….well, I have one now, I don’t have any dress clothes after the fire.  Before the fire, I had no excuse.

Back to my shoe picks for the month.

Shoshana

Recommended by Melis Kuris

Shoshana is the softly studded, versatile flat boot you’ll want to be seen in everywhere.
This knee-high boot will pair well with virtually everything in your wardrobe. Throw on your favorite leggings, a comfy striped angora tunic and wait for whistles! A bow-studded headband and loose waves in your hair are all you need to complete a casual and cozy look

I love these boots.  They are totally my style and you don’t know how badly I want to order them.  This was my favorite pair out of my picks for the month.

Junie

Recommended by Kim Kardashian

Find your boot bliss with Junie, sculptural in faux suede.
Junie’s a playful ankle boot with endless possibility. Take some inspiration from menswear by pairing a loose, pleated tunic with a boyfriend-fit blazer and cropped trousers, or play the downtown diva in head-to-toe black, from your sweater to your leggings to your jewelry.

I normally don’t wear heels this high.  Because I’ve never found a pair of comfortable heels that are that tall.  I do really like this shoe though.  If they were comfortable, I would totally wear these.

Weekend

Recommended by Camille Jumelle

Good news—the Weekend is here with a bevy of embellishments on faux snakeskin and chevron-quilted faux leather.
Weekend has a wealth of baubles, from a chain over the toe to a pyramid studded heel. She’s got so much going on that a casual outfit that subtly picks up her colors is best, like a khaki button down tucked into a pair of black skinny jeans.

This is probably my least favorite of the picks for me.  I wouldn’t buy these on my own ever.  I might wear them with the right outfit, but definitely not something I would pick out for myself.

Josephine

Recommended by Merika Rock

Strappy faux leather cages and buckles its way gracefully around the ankle.
Josephine’s ready for spring with her faux cork wedge! A graphic-print halter maxi dress or a sleek, belted wrap dress will complement this chunky wedge with aplomb.

I love this one too.  Love the cork heel and the braided leather and the double buckle.  Again, totally my style.

Bryn

Recommended by Camille Jumelle

Pinked and perforated scalloped faux leather and a flirty tassel update this twist on the Oxford.
Bryn’s spectator styling is classic vintage, but her palette decidedly modern. A simple shift dress or a miniskirt with a brightly patterned silk top will complement her nicely. Sparkly silver jewelry will top off the look with ease.

I am not a huge fan of these in black, but I would totally love these in another color, red, purple, teal.  A fun bright color.

Those are my picks for the month.  What are yours?  You don’t know?  Go sign up and find out.  You don’t have to put down your credit card just to see your picks.  You just sign up.  I think I’m going to do a post like this every month and see how spot on they are after I rate more shoes.

Have a great day!

To the FTC (wo)man:  ShoeDazzle did not ask me to write this post.  ShoeDazzle does not even know that I’m writing this post.  ShoeDazzle gave me nothing for this post.  I just thought it was fun.
