5 Days In A Row

Posted by Heather Manning On January - 7 - 2011

For real?

My children have not missed the bus at all this week?

That has to be some sort of miracle….or record at the very least.

I was worried this morning.  They were both dragging hard.  Jordan made it out to the bus before they pulled in.  Katiana couldn’t find her other snow boot and of course it snowed this morning.

I woke Pato up because I had to get Junie outside before she peed all over the place.  He found her boot under a stack of coats on the couch.  Anyone else’s family have no idea what the hall closet is for?  Not us.  We use the couch.

I think this is the first time since school STARTED that I haven’t had to take them to school 1…2…5 times in one week.  Woot woot Kat and Jordan!

No big plans today.  Which is nice.  I’m going to take the kids out to the new thrift store that just opened up a couple of days ago.  Love me some thrift stores.  I might go out to Turtle Hut too.  I’m in the mood to shop today.

Plus we could use some new clothes.  I could use some new clothes.  I haven’t replenished my closet since I emptied it out

In other news, Nano thinks everyone is pretty now.

He takes a picture of me and says you’re pretty as he looks at the screen.

He puts on a stocking cap, I’m pretty.

He puts on 2 of daddy’s socks, I’m pretty.

Leecy puts on her Tinkerbell dress and says, I’m a princess.  Nano says, I’m a princess too.

No, honey, you’re a prince.

No, I’m a princess.

I’m dinkerdell.

Ok honey, you’re princess dinkerdell.

You know this is driving my macho Mexican husband up a wall.

He doesn’t like his son putting on his sister’s pink skirts and gold sparkly shoes.

He is not appreciating the fact that Nano pulls all of his sister’s clothes out to get to a pink striped dress.

I say, whatever makes him happy.  He’s a toddler with sisters.

He’ll choose Thomas the Train over the pink if it’s in his eye sight.

All is good honey.

He’s a baby.  Let him do what makes him happy.

I’m outy.  I have a 4 year old who is bouncing about begging to go shopping.

We’re off to shop!

Have a great day!
