I think I have cabin fever. Doesn’t help that Jordan was home sick. He wasn’t faking it this time. He truly was sick. I have the proof. He threw up ON my bed last night. My bed that’s not even a year old. And he probably threw up 4 other times.
Not one throw up today but school rules say no throwing up for 24 hours before you can return to school.
Blah.
I’ve been asking him to do his chores today since he was feeling fine. Nope.
I’ve been asking Alyce to do her chores today.
Nope.
Someone with kids tell me the magical solution that does not involve raising your voice?
Take things away….Check.
Ground from electronics….Check.
Time out….Check.
Fed up….Check.
Katiana got home from school. Asked her to start getting her chores done.
sigh
The chores are halfway done now. Half.
Only because I threatened with hot sauce because they were screaming at each other.
Then they stopped because Jordan found some of his homework shredded up on the floor. It had been in his binder on his desk where it’s supposed to go. I can only assume a little one thought they could find paper in Jordan’s binder and somehow ripped it up. Do I know which little one? I can narrow it down to 2. Alyce and Nano. Alyce is my best guess, but I can’t prove it.
All hell broke loose after that because Jordan is throwing a complete and total conniption fit over his homework. I emailed his teacher and told her about it, I told her it wasn’t his fault. Please don’t give him a late assignment for it.
He’s still ticked because he had it done.
Now he has to do it over again.
Hijo de la la la la la la la la la.
No, can’t swear in Spanish on my blog either.
He needs some sort of safety clothing type apparatus to put over his homework. Safety clothing for papers – protect them from siblings.
I need to get out.
Mom is taking me to the casino in the morning for my birthday.
Then I’m going out with 2 friends from high school on Saturday to celebrate all 3 of our birthdays.
I need it.
Pato can be in charge tomorrow and make them finish their chores. I’m done with it tonight. I’m feeding them supper and sending them to bed early.
Works for you? Works for me.
Have a great night!
