I can’t hardly stand it you guys. I told you about us deciding to adopt Junie Bee, how everything just fell in place. Yesterday, we called and put money in her account at the vet. Her foster mom is going to get her in at the beginning of the week (if there are appointments open) and then we are going to give her a few days to recoup. She hopefully will join our family next weekend.
Want to see what I have gotten for her so far? Now, remember, this is a naked little dog. Well, kind of. She’s a hairy hairless Chinese Crested.
See, not a lot of hair on the back side to keep her warm. We live in Iowa. It’s cold in the winter.
That’s her new bed. The kids are fighting over whose room will become Junie Bee’s sleeping spot. I say whoever gets their room cleaned first is the one who will have the honor of Junie Bee sleeping in their room. Or, maybe she’ll just sleep in my room.
squeeeeaaaaalllll is that not the most adorable little thing? A little dress for when she has to go out in the cold.
Her winter coat – so far. I want to get her a parka too for when it’s really snowy. Don’t want her little underside to get wet and cold when she has to go out to do her business.
I’m not going to spoil this dog or anything.
I’ve got a bid on a new pair of little gold booties for her when she has to go out in the snow and on a few sweaters and a pair of pajamas and another 2 coats.
I still need to get dishes, leash, collar (I have a bid on a personalized one, but I’m not going any higher, so I’ll probably find another here in town.), dog food, toys. ACK! I am not going to be ready in time.
And, I need to not forgot to get the rest of my kids Halloween costumes in my excitement about getting things for Junie Bee. They have their fall party at school at the beginning of the week.
Plus, beggars’ night is next Saturday. gasp I should get Junie Bee a costume!!!! A little angel. Though, if she just got spayed 6 days earlier, is she going to want to go out? Maybe I need a dog purse to carry her in, I mean, she is only 6 lbs.
I’m getting carried away when I should get ready for Kat’s game!
Have a wonderful day!

I have a hairy hairless Chinese crested and wanted to let you know that they are so lovable. They learn very easily and seem to want to make you happy. You will be able to see so much love in her eyes.
They do get cold easily. I have shirts and coats for the cold weather I live in Pennsylvania and it gets cold here too. Mine really doesn’t like the rain but doesn’t seem to mind the snow. Enjoy her.
thank you! I cannot wait to get her! She is getting spayed tomorrow and then if all goes well with that, her foster mom will bring her here on Sunday. I need to get more coats and sweaters. I’ve got a few sweaters and a coat, but I want a parka like coat for her that’s water proof for the snow. I’m going shopping tomorrow for more.
