I finally got to see The Vampire Diaries season premiere. Just thought I’d share since my last 2 posts (1 & 2) revolved around not getting to see it. I got impatient (a boatload of patience I do not posess) and downloaded it from iTunes. Much love to iTunes, even though it was $2.99. I saw the price of the season pass this season and after I picked myself up off the floor, I vowed to never miss another episode again. (It’s $49.99 vs my $20 Real Housewives of New Jersey season pass I had.) Thursday nights will be a day to close the faux wood blinds, lock the door, turn off the phone, and watch The Vampire Diaries.
The show? Awesome! Nina Dobrev did a fabulous job playing Katherine and Elena. You could tell when she walked in a room which part she was playing, she was able to switch their personalities just with body language. As always, love the banter back and forth with Paul Wesley (Stefan) and Ian Somerhalder (Damon). Ian was spot on with his timing as always. His sarcasm runneth over in this episode. Rocked!
And I have declared that Ian and Katerina Graham have the best eyebrows in television. Don’t ask me why eyebrows bother me so much. I only notice them if there is too much are too little. I had this insane compulsion to look at their eye brows throughout the show. Damon compelled me. Either that or Ian is so expressive with his and I couldn’t help but notice.

I think they are perfect. Do guys pluck? My husband tells me they don’t, but this is only after I tried to get him to let me pluck his. He has crazy eyebrows. And our 3 youngest children take after them. They will be groomed young by their mother.
Ok, I’ve now spent 3 days talking about getting ready for the season premiere, missing the season premiere, watching the season premiere, and eyebrows. Probably time I get back on track, you think?
Kat’s got a soccer game today and I thought my cousin’s bridal shower was today, but it turns out it is next week. Good thing my mom called me or I would have showed up at my Aunt’s house at 2 today and said, let’s party!
Well, my mom and my SIL would have been with me if mom hadn’t checked. We’d have thrown an impromptu early one for Amanda.
Speaking of whom is getting married on the beach in Florida, which is so romantic, but I’m voting for changing the location to Saylorville lake beach here, that way we can all go! Can you hear Amanda breaking out in peals of laughter? I can.
One time I went to Saylorville to go fishing with my parents and my mom spent quite a bit of time removing carp from the sand so that the smell wasn’t so bad.
Don’t want to go walking down the beach barefoot with that.
Ew.
Alright, off to get my kids ready for Kat’s game!
