Not a review I got a free product to try Mr FCC man.  I just love how my make up came out today.    Last time I posted a couple of eye shadow shots I had a few people email me asking me what I used.  So, thought I’d share this because I never ever thought I’d use this as eye shadow.

Want to know what I did?  I started out with Mary Kay’s Crystalline mineral eye shadow under the brow –

Then I used bronzer for the other colors.  That’s what I was so tickled about.  My friend Kari, who I have been friends with for years, went back to Mary Kay and she sent me some samples to try of different things because I am addicted to new make up.  She sent me a few different bronzers to try.  The one I used for my eyes was Canyon Gold.

I used the lighter color on the lid and the darker color in the crease.  I just dotted it right in the crease.  Didn’t use a lot.  I finally discovered blending brushes.  I’ve always used my fingers for blending, thinking why do I need an extra brush for it?  I just got ELF’s whole brush set and I LOVE their eye shadow blending brush.  Blended it all together, the line of the darker in my crease went mostly up, a tad down, and a little out.  Make sense?  I should you tube it.

Eye liner?  Just your average cover girl eye liner (Cover Girl Perfect Blend Eye Pencil in Black/Brown to be specific).  The one we’ve all been using since 8th grade.  I love the smudger on it.  I always break my smudge brushes, but have never broke this one off in all the years I’ve been buying them.  Lined upper and bottom because it’s what I do.  I feel naked without eye liner on.  Then I smudge the crud out of them.  I actually start out with a very thin but heavy line right above (on top)/below(on bottom) the lashes and then smudge smudge smudge.

For fun, I added a little glitter, I just ordered ELF’s liquid eyeliner in copper.  To be honest, I ordered quite a few.  I go a tad crazy there when I shop for one thing.  Come on, everything is $1 almost AND I only shop with a coupon when I need something.

Then to top it all off, I’m still using the L’Oreal Double Extend Lash Boosting System and the mascara that is in it.  I LOVE that mascara.  I’ve gone through a couple of tubes since I reviewed it.

That’s just one coat, and not a good one, I’m noticing.  Christiano was pulling on me as I was trying to finish my make up to go to my mom’s.  I wish the pictures were better because I really really really liked how that bronzer worked as an eye shadow.  I had to share, just in case someone (like me) hadn’t thought to use it that way instead of just using it to add a little color to your face.

I ended it with a coat of Mary Kay’s NouriShine’ Lip Gloss in beach bronze.  Another sample Kari sent me and I just ordered from her cuz it’s gorgeous.  I didn’t think to take pictures of that on, I was quickly texting Kari telling her my Mary Kay order as I was trying them.
