I almost got mad

Posted by Heather Manning On April - 15 - 2010

Pato walked in (late) last night (because he had gone to play soccer after work).  He comes in with a shoebox with a Sony PSP and a couple of games in it.  Look what I bought for $70.  Yes honey, look what you bought.  If memory serves correctly, you already own 2 of those.  One that I bought you for Christmas that you left in Mexico on accident and that no one has brought up with them 1 time in the last 2 years and the one you bought because you left your other one in Mexico.  Do you really need a third.  I’m all geared up to go off.  I mean really.  How many gaming things does one person need?  I’m all you had better go find used rvs for sale because you bring one more system into this house and that’s where your going to live.  Ok, I really didn’t say that.  I kind of lied.  :)

Until he pulled one of the games out to show me.  Know what it was? The Sims 2!  Hear I am, getting all warmed up to be mad, and he got it for me.  blush Don’t I feel like an idiot.  Remember the post the other day about how much I liked the MySims game for the Wii?

Yeah, he remembered too.  And that would be why my blog post is late today.  Again.  When I’m not taking care of the kids, I’m all playing The Sims 2.  It’s so not as easy as MySims was.  Kind of reminds me how hard the Sims was on the PS2.  I could never keep a Sim happy over there.  I think I’m farther on this one now than I ever got on the old version.

Jordan saw it on my desk this morning.

*gasp*  Who’s the new PSP for?

Me.

WHAT?

That’s NOT FAIR!

Dude, you have a DSi.

SO!  Mom, you don’t even play games hardly at all.

Because I don’t have my own system.  If I had a little handheld that I could say, take to the bedroom while I’m nursing the baby to sleep, I would play more.  I can’t be tied to the TV in the living room gaming on the Wii with 4 kids.

He threw a fit about it all morning before school.

It’s not like Pato doesn’t let Jordan play his PSP.  It’s not like I wouldn’t let him play mine.  Hello, did you forget you have 3 siblings I have to take care of?  I can’t just sit and play.  Plenty of time when I’m not on it.

He doesn’t care.  It’s so not fair.

Honestly, I so don’t care.

After living in a house where everyone has their own little game thing, it’s kind of fun to have my own.

Christiano has the really old version of Leapster that was Alyce’s before we got her a new one for Christmas.  Basically, it’s just to hear the noise on and keep him from trying to hurt Alyce because he wants her Leapster.

Alyce has her new Leapster.

Kat has a leapster 2 and a DS.

Jordan has the DSi.

Pato has a PSP and a micro gameboy, but I don’t think he plays that much anymore.

There are 2 extra gameboys floating around here.

Plus the Wii (which I only have one game for that is mine) and 2 PS2s, which SOMEONE (Pato) took all of the games I like and sold them at the used game store for new games that THEY like.  Not right man.

Don’t you think it’s about time mama got something?

He said I have my computer.  I said, um, and you have yours.  Want to give that up?  No.  Then give me your DSi because you don’t need 2 things that you can play games on.  No!

Then dude, shut thy mouth.

And have a great day at school!

I’ve got to get the littlest ones ready here shortly.  Kat has practice at 6 on one side of town until 7.  Jordan has practice at 7 on the other side of town.  Anyone care to tell me how I’m going to maneuver that one?

I actually emailed both coaches.  Told Kat’s coach we’d be leaving early, Jordan’s coach that we’d be late.  I think that works out fair.

See Jordan, I try to be fair.  You BOTH get to miss some of soccer.

I’m evil.

Have a great day!
