No, it wasn’t today. I’m getting caught up on pictures from my card reader dying. These pictures were from the end of March. It was the first day I felt was nice enough to take Christiano outside for a long period of time. I love going to mom’s. On top of getting some quality mom/daughter time in, they have so much more room for the kids to run and play. Win win!
Jordan with his new glasses and haircut that we are all finally getting used to.
Alyce and Nano swinging. Ok, Alyce is swinging, Nano is inspecting.
Katiana – walking. I don’t think she’s mad. I think I just snapped the picture during a moment when she looked upset.
Ok, tell me you don’t love that face?
His first time playing with the toddler slide.
Jordan pushing Kat. He actually is really awesome about pushing the younger ones when mom says, I’m talking to grandma, use your feet.
So there’s those pictures up. Done!
Speaking of DONE! Do I have a funny for you.
Let’s start this with, when Nano bites me while nursing, I pull my shirt down and tell him, you’re done!
Last night I was nursing him. He bit me. I pulled my shirt down and said, Christiano! He looked at me, slid off the bed, and toddled off saying done, done, done, done, done.
I started rolling! Yes, yes you are done!
It was like, I know, I bit, I’ll just take care of this myself, done.
He’s too funny!
Today was a full day, well, if you count the 3 1/2 hour nap Christiano and I took.
I was up half the night last night with my back bothering me, so I started the day exhausted. Got up this morning and got the kids ready for Kat’s soccer thing. It wasn’t a game, but it is the season kick off for the under 6 division. They get all the Under 6’s together and rotate through 6 stations to teach them skills.
Kat got skillz.
You know that episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where he leaves Debra behind because her butt wasn’t in the seat of the car at a certain time?
It was opposite at our house.
I got Pato up at 9. I said we have to leave here at 9:50 at the latest. 9:45 comes. He’s still not dressed. I have all 4 kids ready. I walked out to the garage with the girls to get Kat’s ball. 9:50. Pato’s not out of the house. I go in, get the 3 youngest jackets on (which he was supposed to do, but he was in the bathroom). Buckle all 3 in the car. Sit there. Honk the horn. Sit there. Honk the horn. Sit there. 10:08. (It started at 10:15) I call him. What are you doing? Going to the bathroom. And which electronic is in there with you? Your PSP or your Hero? Neither. We have to go! What is taking you so long? I have to go to the bathroom. EVERY TIME we have to be somewhere Pato, you do this. You manage to leave for work on time, but when we have games, an appointment, a party, everything, the kids and I are sitting in the car while you aren’t ready.
I turned on my car and left to the tune of Alyce crying about leaving daddy behind. Cry me a river sweetie. Someday you too will be a wife. I was past the stop light and around the corner (had to sit through that stop light too) before he called and asked where I was. Sorry dude, It’s now 10:12. I’m not waiting. You knew what time we had to leave. You take longer than I do to get ready and I put on a full face of make up AND did my hair AND got the kids ready.
I got to the field at 10:20.
He showed up at 10:30. I think we both might have pushed on the gas pedal a tad.
He wasn’t happy with me for leaving him behind. I think I’ll do that every time he’s late. Maybe he’ll learn to get his butt ready. I am never late anywhere unless Pato is with me. It’s my biggest pet peeve. Myself being late. Hate it.
Did I ever mention that we were 5 minutes late to our own sons’ birthday party? Our family was all waiting. We were late. I hate being late.
Comes from being a kid and walking late into Sunday school every Sunday. Everyone turning to look. Hated it. Sorry mom!
After the game I went with mom out to the casino where I lost. No big surprise there. I just wanted to get out with her.
Then I came home at 3:45. Pato was supposed to leave for work at 4 he told me. He wasn’t even showered yet. Nice. Turns out he was working tonight at the register and seating people as a favor for his manager who is in Mexico right now, so he didn’t have to be there until 5.
Did he do anything I asked him to today? No, but he did get a lot of Fifa soccer played on the Wii with Jordan. You know, productive stuff.
I rolled my eyes at him. Took the baby. Laid down. We fell asleep for 3 1/2 hours. So nice! But I woke up with my back killing me again.
Because I woke up late the kids got fish sticks, chicken noodle soup, and mandarin oranges for supper. Oops. Next time, string around finger to remind myself to take something out of the freezer before nap.
After that I spent too much time typing and retyping the new network key into the kids’ laptops because it’s really long and I’m apparently, not too smart. I could not get it right to save my life. Type in, retype, type in, retype, can’t I have a nice easy password like THISPASSWORDSUCKS124?
Tomorrow Jordan’s got a game at 3:40. First game for him of the season.
Oh! I have a neat story about him, but I’ll save that for tomorrow because this post is getting extra long.
Have a great night!
