Congrats to Lily Kwan! Thanks to everyone who entered!
Oh did we have fun with this one. I was waiting for us to go out to eat to use the Alphabet SQUIGGLE On-The-Go game.
As I posted the other day, we finally did! And thank you to Random Line for saving our dinner because we had to wait forever for our food to get to our table. Do you know what 4 kids are like when they are asked to sit patiently for close to an hour? We kept plying Nano with chips, mild salsa, and water/sprite/apple juice/whatever anyone had in their glasses that wasn’t alcohol and passed the game around the table for 3 rounds.
That is the game that we got. What you do is spin the little wheel, then write the letter that you get on the paper. Next you let your imagination take over. Draw a picture out of the letter.
Katiana wondering what Jordan is up to.
Jordan scribbling furiously.
Katiana getting creative.
Alyce spinning the wheel with daddy.
And here are some of our drawings.
1st is Pato’s G, he started with a capital G but then switched to a sideways lower case g. Jordan’s is the letter f. Can you see it? It starts as the guys head then curves around the left side. The f’s line is the top of the guys shirt. Alyce’s is the letter Y – that she received a lot of help on from Katiana, who doesn’t understand what LET YOUR SISTER DO IT means.
Jordan’s J is the 1st one, the J starts at the top then goes under the helicopter, making the bottom of the body of it. Mine – you can see what it is.
Pato added Slimey’s night cap because I guess he needed it to be complete. Pato’s C is the handle on the candle holder. I did have the grand prize for creativity with my bird below, then they took it away from me and gave it to Pato for his candle. Then Jordan anointed himself grand master winner with the helicopter.
Kat’s M – she was trying to see how many M’s she could fit in the picture. And that’s my Q – the birds body – lower case Q.
We had so much fun! This is a brilliant idea for long restaurant waits, traveling in the car, in the doctor’s waiting room, so many places where kids have to be patient. I can see myself playing this with Alyce as we wait at soccer practice. That’s where I spend A LOT of time waiting in the spring and fall.
This gets a big
for keeping hungry kids occupied and happy instead of loud and obnoxious when it took way too long to get our dinner! Brilliant product!
Make sure you check them out! They are available at a variety of retailers including Barnes & Noble and Toys R Us.
