I don't know if it helps but I've had the Curve for a couple years and when I first got it my battery was constantly dying on me. It was so frustrating. I finally went to my wireless carrier and they told me it was the applications I was letting run when I didn't need them. Since then I've had no problems. The freezing is really weird.
