Sorry, just went through my head, had to keep going.

Alyce was rubbing my back yesterday cuz she was “putting mommy to sleep” and she started talking about the tattoo on my back.  I realized that in the over 4 years that I’ve had my blog, I’ve never shown pictures of all of my tattoos.  Thought I’d share those today.

That’s my favorite one.  I wish I hadn’t had it put on my lower back so I could actually see it.   I got that one right before Jordan’s dad and I separated, I thought it was an accurate reflection of my life at the time with the tear.  Those are mirrors on the ends of her hat.  I liked that so much better than straight bells.

This one was a cover and I think I need to get it recolored.  You can see part of the music notes coming through the bottom dolphin.  This one is on the inside of my right ankle.  Why is it a cover?

Well, you see, when I was 18 and drunk…..stories never end well when they start that way do they?  My best friend Danielle, my roommate Terri, and I had imbibed in a few too many drinks.  Terri’s boyfriend was a tattoo artist.  Somehow that qualified her in my mind to take a needle and ink to my skin.  Danielle had this rose that she drew all the time that I loved and it probably would have turned out better if we hadn’t used a thick permanent black marker to draw the original design.  Terri couldn’t see what she was doing through the marker very easily and it turned out, well to put it mildly, craptastic.

Children, take note, just because someone has access to tattoo supplies does not mean that they should be inking you up.

This one is on the outside of my left ankle, between the ankle and the heel.  It’s supposed to be the Chinese symbol for duck. Why duck?  Because Pato = duck in Spanish.  I got this after we had been dating a year.  Good thing we stayed together huh?  I knew better than to put his actual name on my body but thought if we break up, I can tell people it says something else, like ducks suck or something like that.  Although then people might be wondering what was up with my animosity towards ducks.

I say it says supposed to be duck because though the tattoo artist got it out of a Chinese dictionary, someone who reads Chinese told me it’s missing an accent mark.  I don’t read Chinese, so if you do and you know what that says, I would love to know.  I should get the accent put on it shouldn’t I?

Those are my handy dandy tattoos.  And I want another one.  I’m thinking since Pato just got a huge tattoo recently that it’s my turn.  Of course, he only has 1 to my 3, but his 1 is bigger than my 3 put together.  His looks like the Mexican flag coming through 3 rips.  You know, like Pato’s all bleeding the Mexican flag through rips in his skin.  He’s so patriotic.

I want to check on the licensing for Suzanne Woolcott and her Gorjuss girls.  I’d love to use one of her little ones with wings and then have the kids’ names circling around her.  I haven’t gotten the kids’ names before because I was waiting until we were done having kids, now we’re done, now I want a new tattoo.
