Jordan left 2 pieces of paper on my desk this morning and told me to read them. I thought I’d share one. It cracked me up. I’m thinking maybe I should let Jordan have one more often so he doesn’t obsess about them.
I am only correcting the spelling mistakes so it’s easier to read. I’ll leave his grammar how it is. (Should I state here that Jordan is in 4th grade? and is not a big fan of writing, loves to read, hates to write.) This story actually takes up a whole sheet of paper.
(Jordan just told me that a few kids in his close wrote the story. He started it, then closed his eyes, put his head on his desk and they passed it. Someone else wrote more, then repeated the passing until it was done.)

One day there was a boy who got a chip tasting maker. he made chip tasting water. he bathes in chips, his bed was made out of chips, and every article of clothing he had.
One day the chip guy got ate buy a mouse.
Then the mouse grew stronger and stronger and became chip boy. The mouse was about to go to a girl and be a human but it got way out of control and he became so weird that he was going crazy but he found a girl that he loved and he wanted to get married. But the girl hated the way he eats chips. So he eats chips she liked and they worked out so they fell in love but they didn’t get married yet. So they went on a date and ordered chips. then they bought a dress and a tuxedo, drove to a church, got a ticket, got dressed, went in and got married, had children, grew old, and died. The end.

If nothing else, the child is creative, and obsessed with chips. And I am really hoping Pato isn’t a mouse that turned into a man because he likes chips way too much. On a side note, I think we forgot to buy a ticket when we got married, but maybe our license counted?
I love Jordan.
I also posted this on Jordan’s barely written on blog. Go leave him some comments if you want! He’d love it!
