First, I got a comment this morning asking if I was doing the December blog train this month because I was listed.  They must not have taken me off the list yet.  I’m so sorry!  I wasn’t able to get anything done for it.  If you haven’t grabbed it yet, I don’t want you to leave empty handed.  I have my Sing A Song of Christmas doodles that are in another post here.  Feel free to grab them, enjoy, and I’m sorry that I’m not participating in this months blog train.

On to Alyce’s birthday pics.  She had a blast on her birthday!  May I say, I am so proud of her.  I told her the other day that 3 year olds don’t wear diapers right?  I know, I’m an evil mama.  Anyways, I gave her a shower with me in the morning yesterday.  I sent her out and she went in on her own, grabbed a pair of big girl panties and didn’t wet them all day long.  Went on the potty, even emptied out her potty chair.  How cool is that?  So, yay Alyce!

Here she is opening the ZhuZhu pet that we won from Holley over at Savings Diner.  Did you know those hamsters moo and cluck like chickens?  They do.  It’s really weird, cute, but weird.

I guess we’ll skip right to the birthday cake.  I thought I sized down more of her opening them, but I guess not.  Here’s how her Little People cake turned out.  Someone picked up another pack of Retro Little People instead of the ones I wanted, but at least he got the kids this time.  It came out cute!

And yes, I do have a monitor on my table.  When my old monitor, that you see above went down, my friend Melissa sent me the one that I’m using on my desktop now.  Pato took mine to his computer guy and he fixed my old one.  So now it sits on my table, connected to my laptop so the kids can watch Netflix at the table while I’m cooking dinner.  Or the girls use it to play with Webkinz, they like the bigger screen.

My nephew Carter who is scared to death of me and I don’t know why.  I swear I’ve never done anything to him.  Must be my crazy curly hair?  He’s 3 months younger than Alyce, so he’ll be 3 in March.

Cambria – Carter’s little sister.  I can’t believe my newest niece is almost 3 months old already!

Carter and Cambria’s big sister, my niece, Taylor.  She’s 7 months older than Jordan.  We tend to get pregnant at the same time around here.  Must be the water.  The good news is, they all have someone to play with when we get together.

Where’s Katiana you ask?  All her pictures came out horribly blurry because she wouldn’t stand still.  Must be the sugar high from the cake.

So, here’s a funny related to cleaning for the party yesterday.  Remember I told you that Pato put up Jordan’s DS months ago because he grounded him from it?  And it’s been missing since then?  No one knows where it went to.  And how Jordan’s dad gave me part of the $$ to buy him a DSi on Black Friday to replace it?  And I knew as soon as I bought it, we’d find the DS?  Pato was taking the playpen down, which has just become a catch all for toys because someone poked holes in the mesh and I was scared to put Christiano in it for fear he’d be able to make the holes bigger (this was my brand new playpen, I got it while I was pregnant with him.)  Guess what was at the very bottom of all the toys?  Yep, the DS.  Pato said, I did not put it there.  We know Jordan didn’t because he’s very anal about his DS.  That’s one thing he doesn’t lose.  What we think happened was Katiana saw where Pato put it, got it down, then one of us was coming so she slipped it in one of the holes so she wouldn’t get caught.  Then she promptly forgot what she did with it. 

Will she admit to it?  No.  But it sounds plausible to me.

Jordan really wanted a DSi, and since his dad paid for most of it, we’re going to let him give that to him.  The DS will be passed down to Kat.  That was our plan the whole time should the DS turn up after Jordan got the DSi.  You think Kat hid it there because she knew if we bought the DSi that she’d get the DS?  I don’t see her as being that devious though.  She’s only 5.  Lord I hope she’s not that devious!

Now we need to get the Christmas tree up, I think we’ll do that tomorrow.  The next birthday coming up this month is my own!  I’ll be 35.  The more I think about it, the more I don’t want to turn 35.  It’s halfway to 70.  My sister said, honey, that’s probably not the way you should look at it.  Yeah, easy for you to say, you’re 23.  That’s ok.  I don’t feel 35.  35 isn’t old is it?  Remember when we were young and our parents were in their 30′s?  We thought, man, they are old!  But now, my mom is in her 50′s and she doesn’t seem/look old to me at all.  The moral of that is?  My kids probably think I’m really old.  Of course, daddy is still cool because mama’s a cougar and daddy is 8 years younger than her and still in his 20′s (27 to be exact).  banging my head on keyboard Birthday’s off.  I’m not making myself feel any younger here, we should leave this subject.
