Isn’t it pretty here now?

Can I say that Megs (Flergs) rocks?  She all prettified my blog for me.  Thank you Megs!

And I’m all proud of myself because I got a few emails this morning that my comments were giving fatal errors so I got out the old Google.  I figured out that it was because I hadn’t upgraded my wordpress installation.  My blog kept telling me that I needed to upgrade, but I was scared to death to touch it.  In order for my pretty new blog to work though, I had to upgrade.  So I downloaded the new upgrade – well, it’s really not that new anymore, but new to me, looked at the handy dandy installation guide.  Backed up my old blog.  Held my breath as I deleted the 2 folders it told me to delete.  Dragged the new stuff to my FTP and walked away for a minute.  My nerves were going man.  Watch me delete my whole blog somehow.

When I went to my dashboard, it told me to upgrade, so I pushed the handy dandy button.  Then pushed the continue button and did a huge dork dance when my blog showed up.  Pressed a comments link.  Got the dork dance groove on even more when comments showed up.  Woohoo!

I can write HTML code.  Taught myself that years ago.  But all this new fangled coding that you do for blogs, stores, etc it just confuses me and I try not to touch it.  (new fangled coding ROFL How old am I?)

It’s not boring here anymore.  Yippie!

Megs, I think I love you.

I was scanning in some old pictures for Facebook the other day of my family and friends that are on there.  I came across some doozies of myself.  Want to see?  Of course you do.  Come laugh with me.  Now I didn’t do any editing other than resizing so they aren’t that great in color and quality yet.  We’ll deal and giggle anyway.

Yep, that’s me at 15 months old.  My mom did the whole mohawk thing so that people would believe I actually had hair.  See Jordan, you’re not the only one with that do.  Do I look like any of my kids?  Even back then had the phone connected to me at all times.

That’s me in the white dress in the front and my Aunt Jackie is holding my brother Steve.  I have to be like 4 here.  That’s my family in Alabama.  I miss them.

That pictures kind of a mess, but I’m 17 here (in the middle).

Yeah, what’s up?  I think I’m 19 here.

And let’s end the flashback with my biggest hair don’t.  Well, my second biggest.  ROFL  Ready?

I’m a barbie girl, in a barbie world.  Life in plastic, it’s fantastic.  Jordan was 3 here.  I look so funny.  I’ve given up on the tanning so I had to have the biopsy to check for skin cancer, but boy, I used to tan every day religiously.  If I missed one day I thought I was white all over again.

Now a couple of layouts.

I did this one for the challenge on Darcy Baldwin’s blog.

And this one is the one I did the other day that I told you I had to wait until Miki released her new kit to show you.

Love that kit!  I think I could get some more layouts out of it since I’m always looking for something to scrap my guys with.

Yesterday was our last soccer games.  YAY!  I’ve never seen those teams play so hard.  Especially Jordan’s team.  They were fighting for it.  They lost still, but they were really going after it.  Jordan’s coach took me aside after the game and said he’d really like to see Jordan get into some specialized goalie clinics because that’s where he excels at.  (We knew this.)  He is going to really push him as goalie next season.  I got both of them registered for soccer next season when came home.

After soccer we went to the Chinese buffet.  I took pics of my kids trying to use chopsticks, but this post is already loaded with pictures and the baby is sleeping on one of my arms, so I’ll hold those for another day.

Then we went to Old Navy because I have absolutely nothing to wear to my Great Aunt Wanda’s funeral on Tuesday.  She was my Uncle Marvin’s wife, he passed away last year.

Then we came home and I worked on  my new kit that I just keep adding to.  I may have to separate the darn thing into a main kit and an add on.  I can’t help it.  I just keep getting more ideas.  It’s turning into a mish mash now though.  LOL  I think I may have to rename it.  It started out as a soft spring kit and now it’s bright and happy.  Maybe I’ll call it Happy Happy Joy Joy.

Alright.  I’m going to sign off, lay this baby down, and get to work.

Again, thanks Megs!  You rock rock rock!
