A Good Day

Posted by Heather Manning On May - 30 - 2009

We started off the day with two soccer games at noon and bordering on a migraine for Pato.  He went ahead and went with us after taking some medicine for the pain and started feeling better towards the end.  I’ve got tons of pictures.  I’ll go through them later.

Then we went to the Olive Garden where I proceeded to eat way too much, like I do every time I go there.  The bread sticks and soup will be the end of me one of the days.  I’ll just blow up right there at my table.

Then we hit a couple of garage sales where we found nothing we needed but had fun looking.  Off to wash the car, a bird had the gall of pooping on it.  Actually, I think it was a bird conspiracy.  Quite a few spots on my car, nothing on the cars around us.

Now Pato is out cleaning the inside of my car out.  He’s all happy with me.  He was sure after 15 days that the inside would look like the inside of my van with toys, clothes, wrappers under the seats, etc.  There’s nothing in there.  So he is just vacuuming and dusting it out.

We’re going to take the kids up to this park later where they have those kind of like sprinklers.  There’s a bunch of holes that shoot water out at alternate intervals.  Then we’re going to grill out.  I just have to get the baby good and fed before we go.

I wanted to tell you something cool that Digiscrap Depot is doing.   They have set it up so that every post that comes through Twitter with #dsdfreebie attached to it will be snagged, giving you way more visitors to your site and store.  They have HUGE traffic already.  I can’t imagine what this will do for all of us.  Besides that Vicky is just awesome.  So, when you have a freebie you’re tweeting, tweet it with #dsdfreebie and you’ll get picked up.  Try to keep the tweets short so it doesn’t cut you off.  Like #dsdfreebie Free QP your URL grab it quick!

If you want to follow Digiscrap Depot on Twitter you can find them here.  And of course, if you want to follow me, I’m here!

I made another blinkie.  This one is for Miki, so if your a fan of Miki and you want a blinkie, here you go!

Alright, on that note, I’m going to sign off and get the kids going on their rooms.  Have a great day!

P.S.  My dad made it through surgery and is doing great.  He’s also grateful that my mom got my grandpa’s craftmatic adjustable bed when he passed away.  He can’t lay flat and the head of this bead raises just like a hospital bed.  Hope you’re feeling great soon dad!

    News:

How to add your freebie so the DSD engine can pick it up

please @digiscrapdepot so our twitter can pick up your freebie.

(forget using the hashtag, its not working)

I am campaigning on DigiScrapDepot (over 150,000+ visitors a month) that they should go to our Twitter to find your freebies. I expect to get a very large following.

(and thank you heather) you are a great digi friend.
