Soccer Pictures Galore

Posted by Heather Manning On April - 22 - 2009

It’s Wednesday and I’m just now posting pictures from this weekend.  Bad blogger.

Saturday both of the kids had soccer games.  I went to the first one (Kat’s) and it was drizzling, so I decided to let Pato take Jordan to his game and I kept Christiano home.  Jordan was ticked.  Dude, I’ve gone to almost every single one of your games for the last 5 years.  Don’t take it personally.

Alyce at Jordan’s game.  These are all out of order, so we’ll just deal with it.  LOL

Jordan is number 19.

Playing goalie

Sometimes it’s lonely in the goal.

Pato snapped a picture of Christiano at some point.  I hate when I don’t size the pictures down small enough in PSP and then size down on my blog.  He’s kinda pixilated.

Kat at her game.

So, I edit some more than others.  I love white wash effects.

Alyce eating a cookie.  It was an early game.  They changed the concession stand menu.  No more breakfast foods available.  Poor kid had to have cookies for breakfast.  I’m sure she minded.  Child loves chocolate – takes after her mama.

Kat

So that was our weekend – ok that was Saturday.  Not much happened on Sunday.

Yesterday Kat and Christiano had check ups which meant shots for both of them.  Yeah, last night was fun.

Christiano at 2 months now is 11 lbs 7 oz and 24 inches long.  He’s like 50% on the growth chart for weight and over 90% for height.  Pato’s kids just are tall.  Poor Jordan will be outgrown by all of his siblings me thinks.  He takes after me.  Semi-short. His head circumference is 17 cm.  Does my child have a big head?  LOL

Katiana at 5 is 43 1/2 in tall.  Which is 3 ft 7 1/2 in I think.  My coffee hasn’t quite hit my brain for doing math yet.

She is 47 lbs and 4 oz.  Ya know, the Wii fit says she is overweight, but I don’t see it.  Do you?

So they both got 3 shots.  Christiano also got the rotovirus liquid to drink and Kat got her finger pricked for a lead test.  My heart of course was broken.  I literally had to pick her up and carry her to the table where I held her down as she cried and screamed “don’t want to!”.  I thought Christian was going to make it through the shots.  First poke, nothing until about 10 seconds later when he got this horrified look on his face and started wailing.  My mom went with me since I had to do both kids and I wanted someone to comfort Kat while I was dealing with Christiano.  He honestly did better than any of my other kids with their baby shots.  As soon as I picked him up so he could drink the rotovirus one, he was fine.  No more tears.

They both started running fevers fairly quickly.  Kat took a nap and got up saying her legs were hurting bad.  So, I kept her home from soccer practice.  Alyce had a runny nose earlier, when she got up from nap, she also was running a fever for some reason.  So, I had 3 with fevers last night.  Kat got up in the middle of the night for another dose of Tylenol.  Then Alyce got up at 4 burning up, more Tylenol for her.  Christiano got up at 5, he was really hot too, more Tylenol for him.  Now he’s up getting his diaper changed by daddy after a blow out.  HA HA!  I said, at least it’s not in your hand like it was in mine the other day.  Literally, in my hand.  I was holding him up against my shoulder, he was in a onsie, and next thing I knew I had a hand full of poo.  GROSS!

Today is my appointment with the dermatologist for those cysts.  I’ve found a bunch of other things for him to look at.  Which I could afford botox while I was there.  LOL  I’d have him shoot some in between the eyebrows.

I shall talk to you all later!  Have a great day!
