An Overload of Pictures

Posted by Heather Manning On April - 7 - 2009

Katiana is now 5. Yesterday was her birthday and I think she enjoyed it! We didn’t have a party, just the 6 of us here, but we (or most of us as you’ll see from the pictures) had a lot of fun!

The present she got to open before preschool.

She immediately changed into her pajamas after preschool. And I wish I had more pictures of her opening her presents to share, but with the pajamas on, there were too many undies shots.

Told you of all of us weren’t happy. Someone was a little ticked off that she couldn’t open any presents.

The Disney Princess bike. Unfortunately it was too cold to take Christian outside so she could ride it. :o ( And yes, I know, one should have removed the basket of dirty clothes after their children finished picking up the living room, but one didn’t even realize it was there until she went to edit the pictures. I’ll admit it, I’m a mom of 4, my house is never ever spotless. – as my mom spits her Dr Pepper all over her computer screen reading this.

Jordan and Katiana

Still thinking life is totally unfair when you’re 2 and it’s not your birthday.

The Hannah Montana birthday cake. I’m still not sure where she got on the Hannah kick. We don’t have cable, I’m a cheapskate and refuse to pay for it. LOL

After blowing out the candles.

The brothers

Jordan thought Christiano was disgusting for sucking on his shoulder. Boy is always looking for something to eat. LOL

We got her the bike, a Bratz movie, the Hannah Montana concert movie, a Hannah Montana Wii game, that Hannah Montana white board you see in the picture of Alyce throwing a tantrum, 2 sets of charm bracelets to make (one being Hannah of course), the Strawberry Shortcake wave runner, and the Barbie Stylin’ Tattoos doll – the tattoos already used up as of this morning. Pato also grabbed her a Hannah Montana garbage can for her room, thinking it would be a nice hint about keeping her room picked up. Honey, I’m all for trying, but I don’t think it’s going to help. LOL

We ordered pizza for supper -which meant I didn’t have to cook. That was nice!

And I am officially done with birthdays in our immediate family until November when Pato’s birthday rolls back around. YAY! My brother’s birthday is next though. He’s old. He’ll be 31 on Thursday. ROFL Dude, you’re catching up with me. I know, I know, I’ll always be 3 1/2 yrs older than you.

That’s it from me today, I’m going to go try to get some work done, though scrapping a few pages is really tempting while Christiano is sleeping. The dishes are calling me though. I can’t decide if I can hear them saying my name or not.

Have a great day!
