Some pretties

Posted by Heather Manning On January - 26 - 2009

I got my ADSR challenge #7 this morning.  You had to use every piece that came with this mini kit from Sunshine Studio Scraps.  It was such a clean little mini, then they said you could add stuff, and you end up with my normal messy layout.  I feel like I should apologize to the Sunshine Girls for making their kit look messy.

That is literally how my daughter is outside the house.  In the house she is hyper and loud just like the other 2.  Take her out and she sits like that, or hangs on my leg.  There she is hanging on grandma, even though we are at a party with mostly our relatives.  She is PAINFULLY shy.  I still don’t know what I’m going to do with her when I go into labor.  Kat’s going to a friend’s house.  Jordan wants to be there again.  My mom will be there.  And Alyce is too shy to go to anyone else.  If she’s too shy for my family, who she has known her whole life, I don’t know what else to do.

Here is Katiana’s valentine, that I thought was going to be for school, until I found out today they can’t even do Valentine’s Day cards at school because there is one Jehovah’s Witness in the class.  I was ok with that, until the aid told me today when I asked about the cards that when one little boy in class said something about Santa Claus that the little girl told the whole class if they celebrated Christmas they were going to Hell.  EXCUSE ME?  Some parents need to teach their kids to be a little more, um……never mind, less judgmental.  No need to tell my 4 year old that she’s going to Hell, thank you.  They can’t even celebrate their birthdays in class, which I think is absolutely ridiculous.  Even the public school doesn’t take it that far.  I’m ok with winter parties, I’m ok with spring break.  Don’t take away my kids right to say happy birthday in class.

I’m going to take her cards that morning and give them to the parents as they are leaving.  Then Kat won’t have anything to do with it.  Don’t make the pregnant woman mad, please.  I’m cranky enough as it is.

And my son, who can actually take his Valentine to school, and pass them out with the rest of the class at the party, here is his –

And because we couldn’t leave Alyce out.  Here is her’s that we will give to family -

Most of these were made using my new kit Candy Love.  But the alphas that I used are from different designers.

That’s it from me.  I’m feeling like nesting.  Gonna go get some cleaning supplies.  LOL  Make everyone clean.

OMG! Talk about cr-aaaa-zy! Our preschool has so many events, I sometimes wish they’d chill out a bit, but NO Valentine’s and NO birthdays?! That’s just sad. If I was as pregnant as you are, I’d definitely be losing it right about now. That’s where I’d be coming in with balloons and cake and going way-overboard! Good thinking, though, on giving the cards to the parents.

Ohh I still have to finish mine. Is a shame that somebody already kill the bird in a layout… LOL
Because I’m having a hard time with it!

Cute Valentines Heather!!! Is that baby boy out yet?

I used to be shy like that when I was a kit. Once she gets settled in, she’ll probably be ok with it? Hopefully?
