Forgot to post these

I forgot to post my ADSR #3 and 4.  Bad me!

#3 we had to lift our first layout uploaded to a gallery.  My first layout is here.

Here is the lifted version –

Credits are here.  Most of it was done with one of my talented CT member’s kits.  Armina opened up shop a while ago and she does beautiful work!  You can find her store here.

Then the next one, #4, was to scrap something artsy and do journaling from the soul.  Here is my layout –

Credits for that one are here.may

The next one is to scrap a layout with no pictures, but 3 picture frames.  I’ve got some ideas swirling.  I might try to work on that in the morning.

You know, if I wasn’t pregnant, I might join a wine of the month club, man.  It’s been a long week and half here.  First, I hurt my neck somehow and was given tylenol with codeine.  I couldn’t move my arm, my neck, had shots of pain going down my hip.  That was fun.

Then Jordan had some issues and I ended up in the ER with him a week ago last Thursday.  This is way too much info, but he was spraying blood when he went to the bathroom.  The ER couldn’t find anything, didn’t know what to tell me.  Took him to his DR the next day and he had a good sized fissure.  Not cool that they missed it.

Then last Thursday, *sigh* another trip to the ER.  Alyce started running a fever on Wednesday night.  Thursday the kids were out for the cold, I mean, it was cold.  -17 without the windchill factor.  She was still running a fever, but no other symptoms so I was watching her.  That night she started screaming that her ear hurt.  I tried to hold her off til the DR opened up on Friday, but by 1:00 AM she was so out of control, I bundled her up and off we went.  Strep throat, ear infection, and conjunctivitis, all at the same time.  My poor baby.  You’d think she would have told me her throat hurt.  Even when she can’t say the word, she’ll tell me hurts here and point to it.  Nothing.  After Friday, Saturday, and today on antibiotics, she’s finally acting like her normal self again.

So, now let’s knock on wood that we’re done with people being sick around here.  I’m 4 weeks away from my due date and I don’t want to catch anything, thank you very much.  LOL

Now, I have finally told Katiana that she is no longer sleeping in my bed.  She literally kicked me out of bed last night because she was sleeping sideways.  *sigh*  She is throwing a HUGE tantrum right now in her room.  No one loves her, no one cares about her, mom, it’s not my fault, I was squished last night.  Whatever dude, that’s why you’re sleeping in your own bed.  There is no room in my bed.  Good night child.

Alrighty, that’s our updates.  I’m going to sign off and find a whip to crack on my 2 oldest who keep finding reasons to get out of bed though they have to be up at 6:30 for school tomorrow.  Long night I tell you.

What’s up with celebrity spokespeople?

Posted by Heather Manning On January - 19 - 2009

Every time I turn around there’s a new spokesperson for weight loss products.  The latest one I saw was Winona Judd and Alli.  What exactly does Alli do?  Does anyone know?  I’ve heard good and mixed reviews about it.  I see it at our grocery store pharmacy all the time.  Is it a pill?  Is it a program?  How does it work.  Pregnant inquiring minds who need to lose weight want to know.

Speaking of pharmacies, did you know that some charge $2.99 to flavor medicine for kids?  I found that out when Alyce was spitting her augmentin and Tylenol w/codeine out all over me.  They asked what I wanted it flavored, I said, like amoxicillan?  They laughed and said, bubble gum?  I said, ok.  Didn’t help.  She still spit it all over me.  She wouldn’t even take tylenol which she normally will take happily.
