Not Everyone's Mama

I finally scrapped a new year’s picture.  I say finally and laugh because I still haven’t scrapped Alyce’s birthday or Christmas.  I’ll get caught up a few months after  I have the baby. 

I used the picture I posted the other day.

That took me forever and I’m still not sure that I’m in love with it, but I finally said that’s it, I’m done.

I used a hodge podge of stuff like I normally do.  Here are the credits.

I swear that’s the best picture I took all night.  I think that might be the reason I’m not thrilled.  It’s  pnot the kids, it’s that the picture needed a lot of editing, it was grainy (no light) and Kat’s night gown had slipped down, fixed that.  I’m not thrilled with Jordan’s "pajamas" either, but they were happy and having fun and that’s more important than the quality of any picture.  )

I played the praise game this morning because I had scrapped one page and I had insomnia at 4 in the morning and again, all the layouts there just amazed me. 

I’ve got to show you this one layout I came across by one of my CT members Diana.  It’s not for my CT stuff obviously because I have put nothing out, I am so sorry for that BTW.  I opened it up and it just took my breath away.

Check out her layout here.  Is that not stunning!  Literally took my breath away.  Even though it’s not for my stuff, can I say my ladies that work with me are so darn talented!  I want to be them when I grow up as a scrapper.  LOL

That took all day.  Actually 2 days.  I spent yesterday networking my laptop and desktop so I could pull the files from the desktop to the laptop and scrap on the couch with my feet up.  Come to find out, my laptop doesn’t really have enough memory to run Paintshop Pro and was freezing and dragging and it was horrible.  So, I mosied over to the desktop and scrapped it there.  2 swollen feet later, I have my page for Hummie’s challenge done.

Wonder why my daughter’s picture is ripped up?  That was Hummie’s idea!  LOL  Her challenge was to rip a picture into 3 pieces and add journaling.  So, I ripped up a tantrum at one of Jordan’s soccer games.  It was the only picture I could bear to add rips to.

So we’re off to our start.  It felt really good to scrap, even if my feet are burning and huge now.  LOL
