I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate it! Ours was great.
I’ve got the pictures on my computer, but need to do my editing. I couldn’t find my computer when I got up and sat down at the desk top. Kat had hidden it. By the time she found it, I had to sit on the couch with my laptop for the feetsies swelling. So, I’ll have to get them up later. I don’t keep a lot of stuff on the laptop because the hard drive isn’t as big as my desk tops.
My kids loved their presents. Jordan was so stoked about the DS. In fact, he’s already passed the game we got him for it.
Pato is crazy. Jordan got this really loud race car for Christmas. Pato keeps taking it out in the hallway to race it. I have to keep going out in the hallway and saying, HELLO, we live in an apartment. You cannot race cars up and down the hallway. You freaking big kid you.
Other than that, it’s been quiet around here. We were supposed to go to my grandma’s today, but the roads were covered in ice. We might go tomorrow if it’s nicer out.
I didn’t get anything myself for Christmas, but I’m living vicariously through all the rings, engagement rings, and wedding rings that I’m seeing posted in the forums. So many beautiful presents, rubies, diamonds, and gold oh my! LOL
Last night we used mom and dad’s Christmas money to take the kids to go see Bedtime Stories. The first movie we’ve EVER been to as a family. Truly. Pato’s always working. I don’t take the kids by myself very often. I was worried about Alyce, but she sat there in awe over the size of the screen I think. Just sat there with the bag of popcorn staring, enthralled. And though I wanted to see the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, I really liked Bedtime Stories. So cute and really funny.
Until I get the pictures updated!
