Not Everyone's Mama

Let’s start with the layout!  These pictures were taken last October when Alyce realized that if she crawled out on the porch in the rain she could play in the mud puddle that collects in front of our porch every time it rains.  Grass just won’t grow there and it’s a muddy mess all spring.

Everything is by Dawn Inskip and her weather station kit except for the frames which are my own and soon to be released.  Don’t you love that little ducky splashing in the puddle?  LOL  So cute!  Dawn has such a talent for drawing!

Then I have to show you what Yvonne made for anyone who might like my designs!  She decided that it was time for some new fan blinkies and she did a fabulous job on them!

Now on to my brother’s birthday party Sunday.  Tons of pictures.  I think I’ll split them up between today and tomorrow.  But we had so much fun!  Well, everyone except for Alyce who only had fun while I was holding her.  She’s going through stranger anxiety and right now a stranger constitutes as anyone who isn’t mom.  Fun for me!  LOL

The older 2 went and played at the playground with their other 2 cousins who are old enough to play without us being right on top of them and they came back in covered in mud.  And freezing.  I don’t know whose brilliant idea it was for Jordan to wear flip flops that day when he went to his dad’s (I think it was mine?) but the temperature dropped and his toes were freezing, specially when they got wet and muddy.  The whole point of that was the older cousins weren’t around a lot for pictures and I focused on the youngest 3. 

Alyce

Carter and Alyce – these are out of order, but Carter would chase Alyce around.  She wanted nothing to do with anyone that wasn’t me and that included the poor little cousin who just wanted to play with her.  He’d run up to her and she’d look around for me and come running and hold on to my leg.  Then he’d run over to us, and she’d take off and make a circle to come back to me.  ROFL  I think here he was saying, ok fine, don’t play with me.  I’ll just take my spoon and go play by myself.  Like their hats and fake crocks?  They match in a weird way.  LOL

Katiana – can you see the mud on her tights.  They don’t match her shirt either, but oh well.  They are her favorite tights and she insists on them when she wears a skirt.

Alyce

No one can ever just smile nicely for me.  This is my brother Steve and his fake smile.  And his daughter Jadah.  Isn’t she getting big?  2 1/2.  She doesn’t think she has to use the potty cuz she wears diapers.  That’s ok.  Alyce doesn’t want to use the potty cuz it scares her.  I sat her on it once and she looked at me and started shaking and crying.  Poor thing.

My niece Sydney.  (Steve’s daughter) No one would actually stop for a picture – ok Sydney wouldn’t, cuz Taylor did.

My sister, el prego.  ROFL  Sorry Abby, it’s nice to do it to someone else.  She told me I can’t post the picture of her standing up from the side.  It’s been decreed and she has vowed to hurt me if I did.  So, we’ll just let you guess what my sister might look like at 19 weeks pregnant.  Ok, she looks hungry, but other than that you’ll have to guess.

Are you getting excited for Saturday?  I totally am!  I can’t wait to see all the wonderful stuff out there!  I’ve got the grab bag ready to be released, the collab will be released on Friday (Oh my gosh!  wait until you see it, it took my own breath away when I saw the previews and layouts and I helped make it!  ROFL), my CT has a new challenge ready to go, I just need to get a thank you gift for the chat ready to go and get my stuff I am retiring categorized and on sale.   And mark your calendars for the chat – May 3 at 9 p.m. EST.  You will get something, I’m not sure yet, it’ll be a mini kit I think, just for appearing, and I’m sure we’ll be giving away some goodies from my store!
