I told you guys yesterday it was hailing and thundering and raining. Then it snowed. What is up with this? End of March and we have snow. The ground is covered. It’s not a foot deep or anything, but you can’t see much grass.
Soccer practice was canceled last night. Rescheduled for tonight, and I’m wondering if they won’t cancel it again because of the cold and snow? I got an email from the soccer club administrators who said that all games for this weekend at home are canceled because of the soggy mess on the ground. Jordan plays away, so I’m not sure if his game will be rescheduled or not. I’m kind of hoping it is. I don’t want to sit in the car for the game. I like to be out the cheering him on, but if it is this cold, I’m not going to make the girls sit outside. Alyce is too little.
Pato called yesterday. He’s just been so busy that he couldn’t call. Yeah, ok. Whatever. And when asked about his Visa, well, he went and talked to a person about it and found out it takes a lot longer to get a tourist visa than it does a work visa, so now he’s going to this other place on Monday to start the application for the work visa. And why aren’t you going today? (yesterday) Well, it’s a long drive and I wouldn’t get there until late, and they are only open half a day on Friday, and I’d have to stay over the weekend. GRRRRRR. I’m sorry, but if I was separated from my kids like this, I’d be spending every waking moment trying to get home. No waiting until Monday. I’m a tad bit frustrated with him. And this morning even more so, because I called and left a message that my sister was in the hospital and to call me back, does he? No. Which means, and yes I know Pato, that he got some so late that he didn’t want to call and have me know exactly what time he got home.
They released my sister from the hospital. But still, the point is, I was worried, and I couldn’t go down to see her because I had 3 rug rats that were hyper. She has been sick. She went to the doctor the other day. They said she had influenza. Rest, all that jazz. (She’s pregnant, remember – 14 weeks). Well, last night it got so bad she couldn’t breathe, she couldn’t talk, she was scared. And she went to the walk in, who sent her down to the ER. They started an IV with antibiotics. Then they did an X-ray of her throat. That’s the part that worried me because they don’t do X-rays when your pregnant unless something is really wrong. They ended up releasing her really late. Her X-ray came back fine. She’s on an antibiotic. And they told her she needs to cough all this crap out of her even if it hurts. I said, did they prescribe some Tylenol 3? When I was pregnant with Katiana I got bronchitis and from “coughing it out” I cracked 2 ribs. Oh that hurt. And I was 8 months pregnant, and she’d kick me in my cracked ribs. Oh, that was so bad. Not an experience I want to repeat. Which is where the sarcastic Tylenol 3 comment came from.
My mama left for Alabama last night after she stopped at the hospital to see my sister. My uncle is being crowned something that starts with a P in the shriners. I can’t remember the word. Putantate or something. He’s not going to be proud of me. Uncle Randy, please don’t pick today to start reading my blog. I love you! Congrats! LOL They are having a big ball to celebrate. And my mom and dad are going down.
I’m going to go crazy for a week. My mom is my only source of help while Pato is gone. AGH! LOL
Ok, instead of looking for his shoes, Jordan is pretending to hammer something. Can we call that air tools? Kind of like air guitar? I’m so funny. ROFL
I had better shorten this up so I can get on him.

I’m sure that if they cancelled the home games, they’ll cancel the away games too. Mainly because home games are home for 1 team. Just seems weird.
Hope Pato gets things straightened out soon. I’m sure that this is driving you to discraction.

Hey there Heather. I sure do hope Pato gets everything taken care of soon, I can only imagine how tired and frustrated you must be.
on the Shriner’s thing you were close, It’s potentate. I went and look up the spelling., lol. it was driving me batty, there used to be a comedy song by Ray Stevens that about Shriners and it mentioned that title, so it was stuck in my head and I had to know. um yeah I know I’m weird.
I hope Pato gets his Visa asap. Thanks for the freebies. I just checked out payu2blog.
