I was sitting here getting Jordan ready for school when all of a sudden it starts thundering. The kind of thunder that shakes the house. Then I go look outside and it’s hailing. Nice size chunks. I checked our news site, and it says rain and snow all day. Think Jordan will have soccer practice tonight? I won’t be getting out of the car if he does. It says it will be drier tonight, but it doesn’t say what time tonight. Practice starts at 5:30.
Oh gosh, now Katiana is leaning on me. “I hate storm clouds, mom.” I guess it’s our turn. It seems like the rest of the country is soggy, why leave Iowa dry?
Pato hasn’t called since Monday afternoon. You guys know me, I’m a worry wart. I’m sitting here thinking, is something wrong? He calls every day. Why wouldn’t he call? What’s going on? LOL I’m sure he’s fine. He was supposed to leave yesterday to go start the Visa process. He was going to stay over wherever he went for 3 or 4 days. I was sure he’d call before he left, but he didn’t. And I was sure he’d call last night, but he didn’t. Just a little over a week until Kat’s birthday. He better hurry.
He keeps promising the kids on the phone when he does call lots of presents. I want this one candy that I have only found in Mexico. I can’t even find it at the Mexican stores here. I think I’ve told you guys about it. It’s like a thick fruit roll up with sugar over it. Tangy, sweet, a little sour. So good! I’d like him to bring the girls back gold anklets. He gave them each a gold ID bracelet for their 1st birthdays. They leave those alone. They are so cute. Both have there names on them. He’s talking to his sister about finding Jordan an ID bracelet like the one Pato wears. We’ve bought Jordan bracelets before and he never wears them, but lately he’s been saying he wants one like Pato’s. (Pato’s sister sells jewelry in Mexico.) For me, just a years supply of that candy would be great. ROFL
Let’s hope he’s on the tail end of his trip. I’m ready for him to come home. He can come without presents, just come!
I’m ready to get back on a normal schedule. Where I can work in the morning and in the evenings. Right now I’m up and down with the girls. Alyce seems to think mornings are just for her! LOL I need daddy to come home and take back over the time before he goes to work.
I’ve got a whole bunch of flowers to take pictures of. They are so neat. I just need to take the pics and extract. I think they will be really cool when I get done with them. Just need to find time to get them done. And I have an idea for another kit in my head. Just need time to get it out of my head and into Paintshop Pro.
My gal Amanda (the owner of PPF) is having a CT call! It’s over on April 1st, so check her stuff out – then go to this thread to find out the details! Amanda is such a sweetheart, she’s so neat to work with. I know first hand. LOL I don’t think you could pay me to leave my girls at PPF. If you email her, tell her Heather sent ya!

I feel your pain, i really do. my husband travels internationally all the time. he leaves for another trip on monday. i never know when he is leaving and don’t ever know when he is going to get home until he calls from the airport right before he leaves. life in the oilfield i guess.

We had hail here yesterday too. For about 5 minutes LOL then it went away and the sun came out but it was still raining a lil. We have such weird weather these days it’s weird! What an AWESOME kit I love all the girly girly colors in that one cuz i’m such a girly girl hehe. Wonderful LO’s I love to see everyones creativity come out.
