I think it’s worse today. LOL It’s 7:49 and I’m having trouble getting going. Jordan’s standing here in a towel. Pato’s trying to get clothes ready to wash for work that he forgot to do yesterday. I could climb back into bed. Can I?
I talked to my mom about my Uncle Marvin last night and he’s doing better. Thank God! I asked her if they knew what had happened and they are not sure what order it happened in. He either had a seizure which caused him to fall and hit his head or he fell and hit his head which caused him to have a seizure. She didn’t tell me if he recognized her and Abby or if he was restrained still. I’m just glad it’s not the same situation as my grandpa that I started to go into yesterday. It just brought it all back.
When I called my mom late yesterday afternoon, her and my Aunt were at the casino and my sister was taking a nap at my aunt’s house. I guess there’s no non-smoking section for her and she’s making a smart choice to stay away from smoke. She quit smoking the day she found out she was pregnant and it’s been hard for her. Oh, the whole point of bringing that up was that Uncle Marvin must be doing better if they were having fun without me. LOL
So, I think Alyce is making more of a turn around with the sickies she’s had. Which hopefully will stop the I must be touching my mommy at all times thing that’s been going on for over a week now. She hasn’t eaten well since I told you guys she was sick. Last night, wow. She made up for it. We had chicken enchiladas. She had a bowl (not the smallest size of baby bowl, more a medium bowl) full of chicken, rice, and cheese. Ate the whole thing. And then threw her bowl at us, I’m assuming meaning she wanted more. We got her a little more chicken and cheese, ate all of that. Then she sat there with her little tummy sticking out with her hand supporting her head and just looked like that wore her out. LOL I was worried she’d get sick from eating so much at once after not eating, but she was such a happy baby when she got out of her high chair. So hopefully we’re completely on the mend. I’m hoping she’s not quite so needy today. It would be a nice break for me. LOL
Cate, you caught me! I’m dusting up my scrapping skills in anticipation for the Amazing DigiScrap Race. I’m gonna have to keep up with you girl! I got another layout done yesterday. I’ve been hunting high and low for challenges to give me some scrapping mojo. I got another layout done yesterday for Lauraskathi’s challenge.
I used my Old Edges frames again, I love them. LOL But everything is by Lauraskathi, her Gabriella kit.
The challenge was more or less to scrap a layout showing your love for something that wasn’t alive. LOL So, there’s mine. Showing my love for my Sarah Jessica Parker chuckies-like shoes. I love them. I can’t wear them a lot right now because there is so much snow on the ground and I don’t want them to get any dirtier. Plus, they are cloth, cold snow melting into cold water makes for cold feet. LOL But they are so comfortable. I’m thinking about going back and getting the other colors. They are only $8.88 at Steve and Barry’s. I love love love them!
Man, I remember the days when I used to wear dress shoes and heels all the time. Then I became a stay at home mom. LOL Now I wear cute, funky, and comfy.
I was cracking up when my CT member Hollie showed me her entry for Kathi’s challenge. Same subject. Shoes, you gotta love them.
I gave Pato his Valentine’s Day presents yesterday on his day off because he has to work all day tomorrow. I got him a ring made out of something they say is stronger than Titanium, but I can’t remember what it was. I got it in a size 12. biggest size they had. He needs at least a 12 1/2 or 13. I love the ring, and I’m not sure if it can be sized. When I managed a jewelry store I was always told that we couldn’t size Stainless Steel or Titianium because the metal is too hard. If I remember correctly we could go up a 1/4 to 1/2 up in size. If they could take this up 1/2 a size, I’d love them forever. LOL I’ll have him take it to a jeweler today and see what they say. I also got him some sexy lingerie that I think I’m going to have to do a layout on. ROFL It seemed like a good idea at the time I bought it and wrapped it, but when he unwrapped it, man, I thought I was going to die. Now, I’m obviously not going to take a picture of me in it, but I thought I’d take a picture of it by itself. ROFL

I use to wear nice shoes to work too, but not its usually just flip flops. Good shoes hurt my feet. I had no idea you were working with Hollie in the race. She is a great gal. Love the shoe layout.

I have a favorite pair of shoes that I’ve had for years…in fact I’ve actually bought the same ones a couple of times and I was down to my last pair and our dog ate the cushions out of them the other day. It wouldn’t be so terrible except that they finally stopped making this design. I miss my shoes.
