I do, I do! I was talking to my mom last night after I heard about this weekend’s weather and it dawned on me why I hated having my birthday in December. It ruins your parties. Check out our forecast for this weekend:
Freezing rain? Snow? You know that makes? A big ol’ mess I don’t want to drive in. I heard on the news last night 6 – 10 inches. I’m thinking her actual party isn’t going to happen. It is probably going to just be us here celebrating.
Mom asked if we could do it next weekend (providing there is no snow) and I said that’s fine. But I’ll make her a cake for that. I know she is only going to be one, and she won’t notice a difference, but I want her to have her cake on her birthday. The one I ordered. Not a week later. Where is the fun in that? My mom thinks I am weird. Oh well, it won’t be the first time that she thought that about me, and I’m sure it won’t be the last!

The kids will be excited to get the snow. I’ll get to test out my camera’s snow scene setting if I can figure out where it’s at. LOL I want to teach Katiana how to make a snow angel! Jordan loves making them. What kid doesn’t? I still love making them!
Update on my blog store, it is going to be down for a couple of weeks since I deleted it. I decided to look at this in a whole new way. I’m going to take it as a chance to get myself set up with hosting, so that my stuff isn’t scattered from here to there on the net. I need to get working on a design for it! Of course I’ll keep doodles the monkey and incorporate him into the design! I love doodles!

Ahhh, snow. It’s sunny and clear here, even tho they keep threatening us with the white stuff. We made cupcakes for Jenny. She enjoyed it, and.. uh.. with the morning I had I think the leftovers are definitely in danger LOL!

Ugh, sorry about the snow. I love snow until it rains on it…and here in Oregon it WILL rain on the snow! LOL But I can’t wait to see your snow pics.

My girls bday is this weekend and we are supposed to get rain on Fri and Saturday. Sunday is supposed to be sunny! I am hoping it will be as predicted as we are having theirs at a park. lol
BTW…my mom thinks I am weird too. Just the way it goes I guess.

Oh that sucks about the snow coming your way! Kaylie’s birthday is December 12th and almost every year its snows for her party too! Her 2nd birthday was the worst, it snowed so much it ended up being just us and my parents at her party and then we ended up having another party a few days later for the rest of the family when the snow had melted! Her party is on the 9th this year so I’m crossing my fingers that we don’t get snow here!
