Woohoo! Just in the nick of time. Got my Layout #5 and #6 done for the Amazing DigiScrap Race.
At least I think that’s what we’re on. LOL
The first one was to scrap advice that you have been given.

The next one was harder for me. I’m used to having lots of negative space to journal in or just to leave pretty and blank. This one was one only one of us had to do. It had to be a ‘messy’ layout and we had to use at least 15 elements. You could only use 2 elements from each designer. So, I dug into my grab bags I have bought and my handy dandy freebie folder, had to dust that puppy off, forgot I had some great stuff in there! This is what I came up with:

What do you think? I think it came out ok.
oooooh, remember the other day, Pato gave Alyce her medicine easy as could be? She’s screaming right now while he’s giving it to her. Better him than me.
That sweet little angel in the picture above? She’s got an ear infection now. She woke up from nap SCREAMING yesterday. So, loaded the kids up and went to the doctor. I had him check Jordan’s ears too, just in case. I didn’t want to be back today with him. I mean, 3 doctor’s visits in 5 days, who doesn’t want that? So, she’s on the pink stuff now too. Jordan’s ears, are perfect.
We also went and picked up Jordan’s new soccer uniform yesterday. We had to special order it cuz the club changed colors. Just bought his new uniform in the original colors last season because he outgrew the other one. GRR. Anyways, I told them on the phone what size Jordan wears normally, and they had it bagged up, ready to go. They had to put a number on the shirt, and um, we both said he wore #19. Then we get in the car and we are thinking, wait, 19 is Alex’s number. Jordan, you are number 3, and have been for 3 years. Oh well, maybe Alex won’t be on his team this year. LOL When they are younger, it seems like a few of them have the same number anyway. I shouldn’t say that, Alex is an awesome little player, and his dad is a great coach. I really hope we do get them this year. Anyways, off track again. We got the shorts home, too small. So, I have to take those back and get a bigger size. I’m actually getting quite frustrated with Jordan. He’s gained 37 lbs since I took him off the ritalin 1 year and 3 months ago. He was getting really really skinny, and he could have used about 20 of those pounds. His hip bones were leaving bruises on his skin. But now, he’s 8 years old and weighs 93 lbs. I try to watch what he eats. I don’t have junk food in the house, but he is constantly getting in the fridge or in the cupboards. If I don’t let him have food, he cries. Which is fine with me. He still doesn’t get the food. There is no reason to be crying over food 30 minutes after you ate. I’ve cut his portions down. He could eat as much as Pato and I if I let him. And, I’ve cut out gameboy, playstation, and tv during the day. He now has to earn those back by getting outside and playing. So many minutes of the electronic stuff after so many hours of playing. Seriously, what kid does not want to play outside? I think I’m going to sign him up for the Jr Menace Soccer clinic too. It’s for the fall and spring. He LOVES soccer, so that’s another way to get more exercise in on top of the regular 2 seasons he plays a year. (The Menace are Des Moines’ professional league)
Baby is cranky, gonna sign off!
