Not Everyone's Mama

Why oh why does it feel like Sunday to me?  I’m all messed up on my days today and I’m not sure why?  LOL  Tuesday, Heather, it’s Tuesday!

My mom took Jordan to spend the night at her house last night, a rare treat for him!  She tries to let each of the kids spend the night at least once in the summer.  (All of the cousins)  And Jordan got to be first.  He was ALL excited.  Had his bag packed on Friday.  LOL  He was having a blast when I talked to him last night, he was trying to talk Grandma into one more day.  LOL

Alyce had a rough night last night after her shots.  She went to bed finally at 2 and then was up at 4:30 crying, so we got up, took some tylenol, and played until 6.  I’d been up since 3 with a headache.  So, we crashed at 6 and daddy’s alarm went off at 8:50 a.m.  waking us both up.  She didn’t last long.  She had a fever, so I gave her some more tylenol and she fell asleep at about 10.  She’s napping now.  Hopefully she’ll stay asleep awhile and get some much needed rest.  I’ll probably lay down with Katiana and her in a bit.  My head still hurts.  I got sick at 3:30 a.m. because it hurt so bad.  No fun.  I need to go to my chiropractor a few times this week.  If I’d get off my toosh and go my back and head wouldn’t hurt so bad.  I just hate listening to Alyce scream the whole way everytime we go so somewhere cuz she HATES her car seat.

Here’s some new LOs I’ve done:

My son Jordan has been wanting to shave his head bald for awhile now, and I’ve said no. And I got ganged up on the other day by him, dad, and dad’s friend who all threatened to do it after I went to bed. So, I chose my battle and let him do it.

I took a picture right afterwards, but it was on my cell phone, not great for scrapping, so this is after a few days growth. I’ve had to shave it every 2-3 days to keep it as short as he likes it. We’ll see how long he keeps it this way!
This is a picture of Blythe Evan’s little boy Greyson. I’ve known Blythe since we were both pregnent with our 3 year olds, and Greyson is a month or so older than my daughter. Her boys hold such a special place in my heart. Well, we’re back.  I’m consoling right now (nursing) so don’t mind the typos! 

 She is 17 lbs 2 oz and 26 1/2 inches long.  And she’s doing everything she should be doing and a little more.  He said, she might be trying to get up on all fours soon.  She’s trying already, and nose diving every time.  LOL

 She got 2 shots.  She didn’t cry for the first one, just wimpered a bit then sucked on my finger.  The second one brought on the water works.  Then she got the oral roto vaccine.  Sucked that right down while crying.  )  Now she just wants me to hold her.  Poor baby.

She did cry harder when the Dr picked her up than she did for her shots.  She’s just like Katiana.  Stranger anxiety pretty bad, but it’s horrible with males.  A guy even looks at her and that lower lip comes out and the tears start.  Poor thing.  She even does it to grandpa.  (

Alrighty!  I love it when you guys send me stuff you make with my designs.  And Tina Williams just sent me the graduation brag book pages she made with my graduation brag book templates.  Here they are!  I thought she did an awesome job!

She sent me 10 of the 12 templates and I’m so glad she did!  And thank you Tina for letting me share these with everyone!

We have her 6 month appointment this morning, and you know what that means.  Shots.  So, in about 2 1/2 hours my daughter will be very angry with me.  Or with the world in general.  (

 I’m excited to see what she weighs though.  She was 17 lbs last month at my mom’s house.  (That’s with me stepping on the scale, then holding her and stepping on the scale, don’t know how accurate it is.  LOL)  Katiana weighed 19 lbs at one, I have a feeling Alyce is gonna surpass that soon.  Well, look at the LO below.  Her thighs match those cheeks.  LOL  I love tubby babies. 

So, if I’m MIA today for anyone who might possibly need me, if she’s having a bad day with her shots that will be why.  I’m hoping she’ll sleep from them like she did her 2 month ones.  Her 4 month ones made her mad at life, so, we’ll see.  I’ll give her some tylenol when we get to the dr. 

I’ve got some awesome brag book pages from Tina Williams to post this afternoon.  She used my graduation templates to make a LO of her son’s graduation, and they came out AWESOME!  I was mighty impressed!  And a little nostalgic.  Purple and Gold were my school colors too.  Go Warriors!  LOL

Here is a LO I did of Miss Alyce, the first one of all of us to have blue eyes.  You can’t tell in the picture but they are almost cornflower blue, not quite sky blue but almost.  We say they must be from grandma because she’s the only one of us with a color other than brown.  My mom has such pretty gray eyes that look blue somethings and green others.  My grandpa had the equivalent of sky blue eyes but in green.  Pretty much everyone on my mom’s side has a color other than brown.  And when she had us 4 with brown eyes, she said we were all a bunch of traitors.  LOL  But, she’s got 3 grandchildren with eyes that are like hers, so she’s happy!

It’s HERE!  It’s HERE!  The last day of school!  Yippie!  ya’all remind me of this post in a few days when I am complaining about the kiddos driving me crazy!  LOL  3 months of sleeping in, not having to argue with Jordan, “get up get up!  You’re going to miss the bus, get in the shower, Jordan start washing or your not gonna get to do anything tonight, Jordan you have 5 minutes til the bus gets here, get out of the shower.” 

 I can stay up late designing and not feel bad because I have to get up in 4 hours to get Jordan on the bus.  Oh, I’m doing the happy dance here!
