Not Everyone's Mama

I have not done anything in 3 days.  I’m a slacker.  LOL  I mean, I’ve made the freebies for the blog war, but nothing else!  Bad Heather.  Sunday was just busy, busy, busy.  Monday I had that horrible migraine, and yesterday, none of my children would cooperate with me.  Pato went to play soccer after work, so even when I normally work – when he got home from work – was off limits to me.  The baby was waking up every 5 minutes until I finally went in and laid down with her.  I gave up.  So, today, I’m going to work!  At least for awhile.  LOL

Pato said yesterday, if I can go play soccer after work, you can go to the casino tomorrow with your mom, get away from the kids.  Only problem is, my mom was really sick yesterday, if she’s not better, I won’t be going.  But, I was thinking, I might just take myself to Starbucks, sit and read a book, have a frapucino, just veg without someone saying, mom, mom, mom, every 5 seconds.  Not that I don’t love my children.  LOL

I talked about freecycle the other day.  Know what someone freecycled yesterday?  A hot tub, complete with deck and cover.  I called my mom, who wanted it.  (She has 3 bulging discs in her back and goes down to the hospital a few times a week for physical therapy and to sit in the hot tub)  I thought if she had her own hot tub, she could get in it whenever she wanted.  She told me to call my dad.  I did, he didn’t want to mess with it.  I’m like, dad, free hot tub, you just have to take the deck apart – my dad is a carpenter – for 35 + years, not like it would stump him on how to do that.  Know what he said?  He didn’t want to mess with it.  Dad, did you hear me?  FREE HOT TUB!  Mom would be able to use it for her back.  He didn’t want to mess with it.  What was he thinking?  LOL  It’s not like they don’t have room, they live on 5 acres of land.

So, I called my brother in law to be, asked him if he wanted it. He didn’t want to mess with it.  WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE????  FREE HOT TUB!  ROFL  If I had a house, I would have put my name in the hat so fast!   My brothers both rent also, so none of us could get it.  I could not believe that no one that could have it wanted it.  It’s taken now.  LOL  I’m sure the lady who was giving it away picked a deserving person who could use it!  What is wrong with my family?  ROFL
