This isn’t my normal freebie, I know. And some of you may not want it, but I thought there might be someone who would. So, I’m sharing it. I was playing with tutorials trying to learn some new techniques that I could use for designing, and here is my first painting. Followed a tutorial, yes, but did it all by hand. I’m mighty proud of him. Maybe he could go on a nature page? Or a summer page with muted tones? Let your imagination tell you where to put him.
Leave me some love if you like him! Oh, I’ll cry if there isn’t any love tomorrow and you all think he stinks. LOL
**edited** Link fixed, must not have hit copy right at 4shared
P.S. I made the little monkey in my preview too. Isn’t he cute?

The hummingbird is lovely…and I ADORE the monkey! LOL He just looks like a little mischief maker! Is he available anywhere?
I’m very interested in the tutorial on painting, assuming it will work with PS…i do a ton of brushwork, and I don’t like just filling them with solid color…and hand tinting is getting old too. If you think it might work for Ps and you happen to remember where it was, I’d love it!

I’ll have to come back and grab lovely birdie…my harddrive is ready to explode, and I’ve got to delete like crazy before I can download another kb! LOL
Thanks for sharing!
I think you did a great job. I downloaded it and would also be interested in the tutorial if you have the link to it. It looks like it took a while to do but fun to do too. Thanks for sharing.
Super job I love it
Now, don’t cry, Darlin’…he’s cute!!! Anyway, it really doesn’t matter if anybody but you likes him…if you had fun and feel you learned something…that is what matters…;o)
As a matter of fact I am very happy to have him because we get those hummingbirds and they are already here for the summer…the feeder is near a kitchen window and one on the back porch…What a Show!!!..your hummy will certainly find a place on a LO…;o)
