What was the most memorable book you read as a kid? What did you like most about it?
Question from Digital-Scrapbooking.org
The book I remember reading the most, over and over again, was Little House in The Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
It was the first chapter book my parents got me. I loved to read. I could get lost for hours in a book. (Especially when I was supposed to be cleaning my room.

Ya know what’s funny, I can’t remember anymore everything that happened in the book, I just remember wishing my family was like the family in the book. The barn raising just seemed like so much fun. You think, living in Iowa, I would have had been on a farm. Nope. I think even now I’ve been on 1, twice. My aunt and uncle have a pig farm. But, we always see them at my grandparent’s house.
When I was really little, my favorite book (and one I love reading to my kids now) was
by Eric Carle. I loved the bright colors. I still love looking at his books. They are just so bright and cheerful. How can you help but fall in love with his books?
Now you’re turn! Blog it or lay it out and leave me a comment so I can go look at yours!
