YUMMY! Chocolate covered marshmallows
Need to get rid of these, and not the way I have been. LOL I saw this yummy recipe in Parents Magazine for Passion Pops. But, with a 2 month old and a 2 year old I figured I needed to make something easy easy and faster.
So, I took the stick and the chocolate from the recipe and made something else completly different. LOL I melted 3 bags of chocolate chips, added some milk to make it liquidy. Then, I put a big marshmallow on a sucker stick, dipped it in the chocolate and then in red and white sprinkles, stuck it on a plate and into the fridge it went. When they are hard, I wrapped each one in saran wrap and taped it to Jordan’s Valentine Day Cards for school. He didn’t know I improvised.

) And after tasting it, he kept asking for more of my “masterpiece”. He was mighty impressed. Chocolate? Good! Pure sugar? Good! On a stick? Goooood!
And now, Katiana keeps getting us some of the leftovers out of the fridge. Thanks, I needed all 3 of those. LOL
**edited** I forgot to post that if next I’m kind of slower in posting, my Mother-In-Law is coming up from Mexico to visit. I’ve got sooooooo much to do. Clean the carpets, clean the couch, you can’t walk in my kids’ rooms, find a place for her to sleep. I’m kind of stressed, cuz they have the cleanest house. But, they have a maid come in every day and clean. I don’t have that luxury, and my children are not that great at picking up after themselves. UGH! And, she speaks Spanish, so do I, but not perfectly. We don’t have cable, because I think my kids watch too much TV as it is, let’s give them another 100 channels to choose from. LOL So, we don’t have any Spanish language channels. Pato works all day long (He leaves at 9:30 a.m. and gets home around 11 p.m.), so it’s going to be me, her, and the walls. I know I’m gonna get crap because Katiana doesn’t speak Spanish. She understands it, but she chooses to respond in English. Which is fine for me, since we are Americans, we live in the USA, I want her to have a good grasp on English before I get too concerned about her speaking Spanish fluently.
Pato is going to try to take 3 days off next week, here’s hoping.
QOTD: What’s your favorite store? Where do you HAVE to visit each day?
