Haven’t Posted In Way Too Long!

I’m here! I’m alive. I’m just blah. Been fighting bronchitis for a couple of weeks now and just haven’t felt up to being on the computer.

It culminated in pulling a muscle in the side of my stomach from all the coughing. My sister pointed out that I must cough hard because when I was pregnant with Katiana, I cracked 2 ribs from coughing so hard. I’ll take the pulled muscle over that any day! At least that heals faster. It was so bad on Friday that I couldn’t walk standing straight up. I went to my chiropractor, iced it all day. (I don’t think the baby appreciated the ice pack :o ) She was trying to kick it off of her the whole time it was there) What really helped was when my mom was able to get here with a maternity belt for me. It helped keep the weight of my tummy from pulling on that muscle and I could walk straight up again. Slowly but surely it’s getting better. I still don’t feel good standing up, but I can walk and that’s all I ask for. :o )

The kids are doing really good. Somehow I haven’t passed this on to them. They’ll cough every once in awhile, but it doesn’t seem to have turned into full fledged bronchitis for them. YAY!

I just have to make you folks in those warm states shiver here for a second. Jordan had a soccer game yesterday morning. It was at 8 a.m. It was 34 degrees out, raining little pieces of ice on us, and they played. I guess under 8 is when they get hard core into soccer. No stinking ice is gonna stop us from playing. Some of those poor kids had just a long sleeved shirt under their jerseys. Poor Jordan looked like a sumo wrestler out there. He had on flannel lined pants, a turtle neck, his big ol puffy winter coat, his jersey over that, hat, and gloves. At one point, he tried to take his hat off, and the other parents were giggling when I yelled across the field, Jordan Douglas, you put that hat back on right now. :o ) You could tell he wasn’t happy, but he went over and grabbed it. Hey, a mom has to step in every once in awhile.

Poor Katiana was in pants, 2 shirts, her hat, gloves, and coat, and then I wrapped her in 2 blankets. She still sat on my lap rocking back and forth saying, “brrrrr, brrrrrr, brrrrrr.” If you know 2 year olds, you know that don’t sit still for an hour very often, but she did, she was on my lap and wouldn’t move. My toosh felt like I was sitting on a block of ice. Only 1 more game to go this season! YAY!

Jordan also had his siblings at birth class yesterday. We went down with Aunt Abby who is going to be his coach. He’s been asking since we found out we were having the baby is he could be there. So, we signed up for the class. He did really good, and not only was it informative for Jordan, it was for my sister too. :o ) She doesn’t have any kids, and she learned some stuff she didn’t know. I’ve told her and Jordan, that he is to be up by my head when it’s time to push. He doesn’t need to see the graphic parts of me having a baby, but I think it will be neat for him to be there when she is born. I also told him, it’s ok if he changes his mind and decides he’d rather wait to be there until after I have her. So, we’ll see what he decides when the time comes!

I think that’s all on my end. I’ve got a bunch of scrap freebies to post, I’ll try to do it today. I know, I know, so lazy I’ve been! :o )

New Stat and Alpha By Me

This alpha comes animated to you! I hope someone enjoys it.

You need a semi – working knowledge of how to use animation shop and put tags together. Caps have 3 frames and small letters have 1, you need to duplicate the small letter frame twice to add to the cap.

Feel free to share with your friends/yahoo groups

Don’t rename the files

Again, if you download it, leave some love behind!

Download Here From Rapidshare

Incredimail Stationary

The stat matches the tag that is shown below. It is for breast cancer awareness since we are in October, though we should be aware all year round. :o )

The stat has an animated ribbon, the words are animated, and of course it does not have my screen name on it.

Again, you can download it from Rapidshare Here.

Kinda Freaky
So, I laid down with my daughter this morning and fell asleep. When I woke up, I turned on the news to this story:

Manhunt for Felon Causes Schools Lockdowns

The search for a felon who tried to elude police in XXXX this morning, caused the lockdown of several schools. Police were looking for Stephen McNeeley, a 41-year- old white male, 5-11, 160 lbs, with blonde hair. McNeeley is wanted on a dangerous drugs parole violation and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous. Police last saw McNeeley in the area of XXXX.

The lockdowns have been canceled, and police have called off the large organized search for McNeeley. They believe he’s left the area.
There were seven schools that went on lockdown as a precaution. X,X,X,X,X,X,& X had all external doors sealed, but students were free to move about the school.

XXXXX schools will dismiss at normal times today.
If you have any information on McNeeley’s location, you’re asked to call 911.

What’s freaky about this you might ask? (This is the updated version of the story, it was happening when I got up) Well, the area he was last seen in was oh a hop, skip, and a jump from our house. And one of the schools in lockdown was my son’s. Police told everyone to stay indoors and to lock their doors and windows. I live in this nice quiet area where there is not a whole lot of crime, you don’t expect anything bad to happen, then we get, “LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, MANHUNT IN PROGRESS” WTH? Seriously, you should have seen me running around my house shutting all the windows, what if he cuts through the screen? LOL Every movement outside the windows had me jumping. I’m not normally like this, but pregnancy hormones have me in overdrive I tell you.

At one point my neighbor came to my sliding glass door, and I turned around right as she walked up, I jumped and screamed. What is wrong with you Heather? She hadn’t heard the news. Then she wanted to go out and look for him. LOL Ok, once around the block and to Wendy’s for food and we are going home!

Ok, so it’s been called off, but Jordan is still not going outside to play tonight. Nope, not gonna happen, not on my watch. LOL Call me overprotective, but I really don’t care. I’d rather be safe than sorry.
