This is a page of my neice’s baby shower we had yesterday.
I’m irritated about that whole thing, but what do you do?
When we invited people, like I said before, my mom’s side lives so far away, we didn’t think anyone would actually be able to come.
But the other side? They use every occasion like this to have a get together. Nobody lives that far away that it’s a big problem to get there. So, tell me why, out of 30 invitations (I have 6 aunts on that side that are my dad’s sisters, and 3 aunts that are married to his brothers, not to mention cousins out the ying yang, and a grandma) only 1 of my aunts let us know she couldn’t make it. Nobody else called to let us know, and NOBODY showed up.
Had it not been for Jadah’s grandma and great grandma on her mom’s side, it would have been my kids, my neice Sydney, my mom, my sister, and I. That’s it. It really bothers me. We didn’t expect everyone to come, but at least call us and tell us you can’t. And it’s not like we have baby showers in our immediate family all the time. The last one for us was my neice Sydney who is now 5. It just feels like, I don’t know, everyone can go to everyone else’s stuff, but my brother’s daughter isn’t important enough to celebrate. Well hoey on them, we had fun anyway! And I hope I don’t get an invitation to anything from them for a long time!
So, here’s the layout for my neice:
The file name that I had saved says Rina – Heliotrope. But, it has no terms of use in it, so I’m not sure h0w else to give credit. It’s a beautiful kit though!
