New Tenant!
I’d like you to meet my new tenant GirlsEyeViewNU. Her blog with be at the top left all week! Check her out. It’s an enjoyable read!
I went to the walk in clinic to see the doctor yesterday because the bottom of my eye has been swollen the last few days. After what happened to my ear in May (it was huge, hospital stay, pik line for a week and a half with (IV) antibiotics, then bell’s palsey for a few more weeks) I wasn’t taking any chances. So, I went. And he didn’t tell me what he precribed me. Just told me it would be at the pharmacy. He said I had allergy conjuctivis? whatever that might be.

So, I went to the pharmacy and they said, “does your doctor know you are pregnant?”

“Um….. it’s not obvious?”
(For those brave of heart, here is a pic of me at 27 weeks. I’m making it clickable for those who don’t want to see a belly pic. And now you see why they are ordering an ultrasound to see how far I actually am. LOL If I’ve had 2 ultrasounds already what is the likelyhood there was one hiding?)

I mean, come on. I’m huge! Well, he prescribed something similar to prednisone, a steroid, and the pharmacist said that it wasn’t tested on pregnant women.

So, I bought them and came home and called my poor OB on a Saturday after reading the insert that said, this medication has rare reports of causing serious harm to unborn babies. She said it was perfectly safe, that all would be ok, and I could I please stop having things swell while I’m pregnant. LOL I’ll try.
One thing I didn’t share with my OB was that my blood pressure was back up when I went in. I’m hoping it was just because I wasn’t feeling good. Because seriously, I haven’t been off bedrest for a week yet, and I really don’t want to go back on it. UGH!

I’ve got more scrap freebies to post, but I think my children are feeling neglected so I will post more later.
